Fantastic location overlooking Anstruther harbour. On the outside just a golf clubhouse restaurant, but actually this was fine dining with great service. Very good portions for such high quality food, no room left for dessert. Lamb and sea bream both recommended

This is the best meal we have had for a long time. Everything came piping hot and tasted delicious. I had the mushroom soup then salmon both melted in your mouth. My husband the beef on a mustard mush also superb, he couldn't resist the sticky toffee pudding with icecream. Beautifully served by 2 young staff who worked tirelessly to... More

I called for lunch today with my wife, it is some time since the choice of the menu was such that I could not easily make my mind up. In the end we chose home made mushroom soup which came withe warm bread and butter, I had fresh baked salmon with chorizo tossed sliced new potatoes with sun ripe tomato... More

Was a party of over 35 for my fathers birthday lunch. John the head chef and his wife Amanda and staff handled everything fantastically. Everyone enjoyed the set menu he put on. Fantastic food, big portions and great value for money.

Three of us went here and the experience was not good. My wifes aunt had taken us out for lunch as she had been previously been here and felt it was good. I asked one waitress what the veg was with the liver and was told carrots and turnips. I asked if I could just have carrots, No, they all... More

Visited today with the family and took advantage of the affordable lunch menu. My Wife enjoyed the salmon stir fry and I went for the venison. The wee boy opted for the margherita pizza. Pleasant service and excellent views. Cosy atmosphere and quality food. Would definitely return. A hidden gem.

Went as a helper with a group of about 20, disabled/visually impaired elderly people. The young serving staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them and they treated us all with respect and a cheerfulness which made our day. The food was excellent and generously portioned. They packed a "doggy bag" for one elderly lady to take home... More

A cracking accidental find at the golf club in Anstruther with excellent food, great staff and a cracking view. Extra points to my waitresses, Lauren McKay and Katy Batter for giving me a lovely window seat despite being a solo customer. Shane the chefs inventive use of local produce was mouthwatering and all very reasonably priced. A treat worthy of... More
