We decided to have a lunch here last month. We really wanted a light one but the menu did not present this opportunity. So we had starters and a beer and a glass of wine..what we had was excellent.

I have had many meals over the years in crawfordsburn inn. It is a lovely restaurant and I have never had a bad experience. Most recently I was here over my wedding anniversary weekend and we had a great time, the food is always good and the service never let us down. The lamb i had was absolutely fantastic and... More

I have been using the Inn for many years and decided to choose it as the venue for a birthday celebration. The starter was great, the desert wonderful but the main courses left much to be desired. The Sea Bass was served on what was basically a bed of minted peas, the quantity and strength of the mint totally overpowered... More

We did not have a booking but they found us a lovely table despite the fact they were very busy indeed. The ambience of the Old Inn adds to the dining experience. The food was excellent and the service efficient & friendly. The food was a bit pricey which was the only negative. Otherwise it was a great night out.

This was my husband and I's first visit to The Old Inn. We were celebrating our second wedding anniversary. We will definitely be returning! Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. Wonderful friendly staff in both the bar and restaurant; fabulous food with a good variety of choice and suggested wines. We had cocktails in the bar too! Such... More

Stopped for lunch and was impressed by sandwich selection. Had really nice roast pepper and mozzarella sandwich, helpfully came with chips and side salad. Other half had a crab sandwich again nice but for £6.50 some slightly fancier bread would have made it a little more special. A small error with our drinks order was OK as we are easy... More

We visited the bar for lunch earlier this week, and had a lovely afternoon. The Old Crawfordsburn Inn is so beautifully decorated. Old-worldly and comfortable. You immediately feel at home! It wasn't that busy on a Monday afternoon, so the 4 of us were seated straightaway. I had the lobster and crawfish macaroni and it was delicious! All of the... More

Before posting this review I sent a letter to the General Manager asking for his comments. Eight weeks later I have yet to receive a letter in reply. This alone speaks volumes. The week beginning 9th May 2016 was a very important one for me. I planned to celebrate a 100th anniversary with a few of my closest friends. I... More
