Dined in the Primrose with a few friends last Friday evening. Very busy but very quick service. Lovely food, well presented and well done to Kevin for making everybody feel welcome. Just a pity its so close to me! I'll have to get rid of those scales!

Great for a quiet lunch and good value for money. Been there a few times and found staff helpful and pleasant and presentation of food first class. Varied menu. Always enjoyed the food here. Definitely recommend it.

Had dinner here on a busy Friday evening, everything from the greeting at the door to the wonderful food was first class! The staff were very busy but that didn't stop every one of them being as helpful as possible with a smile. The new decor was very impressive ,making the Primrose a great place to visit. Well done Kevin... More

Couldn't believe the change in the primrose from my last visit 3 years ago, the food was of the highest quality, my steak was to die for, well done, just the way I like it, a bit one the expensive side, service was good, though the manager who greeted us was not as friendly as he should have been, we... We have been goIng to The Primrose for many years. The food has always been excellent and a good atmosphere. The property has changed hands recently and the food remains of high standard. I have been 5 times since the changeover approx 8-9 months ago and although perhaps there has been a couple of changes I think the menu needs... More

My 2 sisters and I went in May for our dinner, I had noticed there had been loads of changes made, it was very clean and fresh inside, while buzzing it was not too noisy. We had cocktails and ordered our food,

Absolutely lovely evening meal!! Atmosphere same as always - very welcoming and staff very helpful and friendly. Food the best we've eaten in a long time. Haddock and Seabass both delicious!! Certainly recommend the lemon tart meringue for pudding!! We will be back for sure!!

I cannot speak highly enough of the Primrose or its staff. In Ballynahinch it is the jewel in the crown for anyone passing through on their way to or from the Mournes. I have sampled nearly everything they have on their menu this past few months, and have never been disappointed. Please try this place and you will find it... More

My companion would have liked a modern salad offer on the menu but we had a special of the day which was just beautiful. Food good service good well worth... More
