I stopped off here for lunch in a recent visit to the area, the location is lovely and the building traditional. We had the potato and leek soup, it was nice and a big portion!

We only stopped by for coffee, luckily they had them for take away! Difficult to enter as the entrance is narrow and tables are very close to one another. Coffee was good tho!

Stopped of here today with my mum and really enjoyed our lunch. A dry day meant tables outside were put to good use plus several dogs about too which is lovely. There is a cabin with tables as an overflow from main building. Old fashioned interior which is very homely and induced memories of times gone by on family farm.... More

I recently drove down to this quaint little cottage, beautifully decorated inside and out in keeping with an old Irish theme. No tables available and offered a menu to read, rather than stand about inside like 2 stray sheep we stepped outside to look exactly like 2 stray sheep. No member of staff advises that a table is free you... More

Visited here with several friends. The location is excellent and really authentic rural tea house. There are several seating options, indoors, outside on picnic benches or alternatively in a purpose built shed/mini house. All the decor was very quaint and the place was clean. The service was fantastic. Nothing was too much for the young waiter. The food was good,... More

I visited Red Door Cottage on my most recent visit to Ireland. It is located close to Ballintoy Harbour, which is part of the Game of Thrones thing going on. The restaurant is so amazing! I think we arrived after lunch so it was pretty quiet, but many outside guests had to concede to the weather and come inside. My most vivid... More

Had the irish stew and it was fantastic. Located right outside the Ballintoy Harbour it is a nice place to grab something to eat after a little exploring.

Yesterday my wife and I ordered two ham and pineapple paninis and after waiting 40 minutes these had not been brought to our table. We thought we saw what was our order being delivered to another table after about 20 minutes. It turns out these were indeed ours. I asked a waitress what the delay was on our order and... More

A meal in itself, large chunks of fish, with oodles of vegetables too boot. Very much liked the atmosphere, even when quite full, which is often not to our liking. A recommended stop on the scenic coastal road.
