I have some nostalgia for this establishment and still view its crab cakes as the best that I have ever tasted. Unfortunately that was long age when the pride in local seasonal produce and honest decent food was the norm. The haddock and chips were ok for a nondescript chippy, certainly no better, despite being double the price. The chips... More

I have been going here for a great many years and I have never been disappointed. It is a great place to stop off for a while on the beautiful Antrim Coast Road.

Stopped for lunch with my wife. The service was a it slow and I had to ask the waitress 3 times for the wifi password before she finally remembered. I had the lasagna for £9.95 but had to pay and extra £3.95 to get a small portion of chips with it. The food was tasty but a bit pricey. The... More

we called in for lunch as we were passing through in late November. The restaurant was clean and warm, the staff were very friendly and there was a good selection on the menu. We had the sausages which were a special that day (sausages doesn't sound like a special but the dish as a whole was a special and the... More

So after a great meal next door, we decided to come into the Coach House and listen to son live music. The two young ladies played and sang some excellent songs, great voices and a great spot for either intimacy or for a group gathering. Staff again very friendly!!

The menu was a bit of a let down - I had expected more from the reviews. The fact that the place was pretty full for a dark autumn night gave it a lively aspect. Food itself was okay - nothing extra special. Service very good though.

My husband and I had lunch here whilst touring the Antrim coast. If you like grey chicken fillets that are as tough as a shoe insole, deep fried in batter...with oil dripping off it, swimming on the plate, stale bun, half a lettuce leaf and some chips that taste of fish then this is the place for you. If you... More

Myself and my partner called in the the Coach House Bistro on Monday 31 October at around 5.30 to have an early evening meal. Upon entering the place immediately came across as farm and friendly and we were expecting this atmosphere to be enhanced by a lovely meal. The menu was varied and had something for everyones taste albeit at... More

Driving once again up the Coast Road on a lovely October day and decided to try here for lunch - great idea! It is a lovely hotel and I ate in the Coach House Bistro. Very well appointed room and a lovely friendly and helpful girl behind the bar [25th Oct '16]. I was spoilt for choice with the food... More

We went there for dinner with our two Kids. It looks very nice from the outside; the interior is old-fashioned, nur also nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We thought it was a bit peculiar to be seated in a waiting area to order our meals, but it somehow matched the ambience. The menu offeres a... More
