Went last night for a meal with work colleagues and the meals were all delicious and piping hit. Nothing was any trouble for staff and of course they were really helpful and friendly.

Myself and my wife have been popping in while shopping in ballymena and we were totally blown away by the standard of service and the exceptional food served in this very clean and friendly pub. You need to go and experience for yourself as you would not believe the standard of food. It should be classed as no one.

The first time I have been in The Blackstone Bar but not the last. Had the place recommended to me by a friend and must admit that the outside of the place might have put me off had I not had that recommendation. However the inside was welcoming, tables placed thoughtfully so as no one was too close to any... More

Just had dinner at The Blackstone and what a revelation. Great food- as good if not better than some of the fancy hotel restaurants, knowledgable and charming staff and pleasant surroundings, we loved it. They were just setting up for a 21st birthday dinner and it's obviously a local favourite. Great for couples. I'll be back and soon.

I have been here for lunch recently and dinner on a number of occasions. I have never left disappointed. The food is always fantastic, hot and plentiful. It is also very good value for money and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Regularly eat here with work visitors, and it never fails to deliver. Top quality food at reasonable prices, great service, quiet atmosphere.

Went during the day just before Christmas and had a lovely turkey and ham dinner. The desert was delightful too and the service was spot on. Would definitely recommend. P

celebrated my wife's ?2nd. birthday last night. Excellent meals (1 venison and haggis, 1 turkey and ham, with all the trimmings). A 3 course meal for 2, with tea or coffee/ drinks, totalled only £63. Good value.

Been twice and had the home made burger both times as it was so good. Came with lovely home made chips and relishes, all of which were so tasty. My wife had the the Thai curry which had so much chicken and fresh vegetables she couldn't finish it. Top it all of with a lovely pint of Guiness, and everything... More
