Friendly staff, good selection of beers, well cooked food. They were rushed off their feet but still nothing was too much bother. Will definitely be returning!

Visited when the pub was quiet and suspect it gets crazily busy in the high season. The dogs were welcomed, the food was excellent and location can't be faulted.

Having walked from Lulworth Cove the pie and mash I had was just what I needed and was delicious. They do a variety of homemade pies and nice beer. There is great outside seating as well if the weather is warm.

After looking at reviews online I was so looking forward to my meal in a dog friendly restaurant but to be honest drinks were overpriced food was microwaved and never had any chicken which wiped out 50% of menu. The only good value for money was children's meal..wont be returning which is a shame as service and location was fab.

Fantastic location and great selection of food. My children love the walk for Eweleaze Farm. They need more staff for bank holiday weekends.

New chef, new serving staff! The warning signs are there. Cant cook meat, cant be bothered to cook the vegetarian dish well or even adequately. The front of house staff were nice but that's it. Its in a lovely location but DONT waste your money.

This pub is in a superb location, has great food and drink, great service and has everything going for it considering its remoteness off the main road but it is most definitely worth a visit. The only problem is that because it is so good you have to wait a while for your food but a great location to do... More

This was one of many visits made to The Smugglers Inn over the years, most visits being good however the standard seems to of slipped more recently. This visit was particularly poor. As a party of 9 we had a mixture of menu choices, mainly beef or pork roasts. The roast was absolutely terrible, the pork was thin, fatty and... More

Haven't been here for a couple of years - had a nice meal on a Friday eve, The Steak and Tanglefoot pie was really good, well cooked veg and tasty mash too. Lovely location, dog friendly a very safe bet if you are looking for somewhere for a meal in the area. The service was so friendly too !!!!
