We had the mixed meat and cheese. Really good quality and well put together with breads, pickles etc The space is great and on good weather days the whole back wall is opened giving spectacular views out over Chesil Beach.

This is a friendly interesting place for coffee, light meals or some delicious, unusual cakes. The owners can provide a lot of information of the island and display art; mainly paintings by local artists which are changed regularly.
We have friends living on Portland. They suggested we go to Jacksons...what a treat. The food was amazing, the coffee wonderful and the prices were excellent. This is a Jewel on the Island especially on a rainy day!!!
