It was cold - very cold but the welcome we got was warm and cosy. Good selection of cooked foods and pastries. The pot of tea is a must. Clean, warm, pleasant surroundings and decor. Staff have a personality that is sadly missing elsewhere in this day. Well worth a visit - you will not be dissapointed. Thanks

Located at the end of Portland Bill Road, Portland Bill, Isle of Portland, Dorset. This café/restaurant on the very tip of Portland Bill & next to the imposing lighthouse, (still fully functional, but automated) offers great views out to sea & across Shambles Bank & Portland Race, (strong tidal race). A varied menú offering a good selection of hot &... More

Very impressed by the service. The young waitress took our order and there were six of us all wanting different food and drinks. She remembered what we all ordered in spite of the fact that the restaurant was full. It seems very popular. The sandwiches and cakes were excellent. (Fruit and cheese scones, toasted tea cakes and a variety of... More

We popped into the lobster pot of couple of times on the day we visited Portland Bill. The first time was just for a drink and then we returned later for lunch. The staff are very pleasant, the food was tasty and good value. The restaurant itself was busy, which came as a bit of surprise considering it's location and... More

A well needed cream tea after a wonderful sunny but windy walk. These scones were the best I've ever tasted.

The best scones ever! Great location by the sea edge. Only ordered sandwiches but very tasty but the scones were to die for! Amazing! Have been all the way back to Portland just to get a takeaway box! Definitely try them!
