B+B on a farm in an exceptionally beautiful part of the country. While our stay was perfectly comfortable I'm not sure that it lived up to it's billing. I believe the owner / manager was away so maybe this affected the feel of the place. We were shown to Room 5 which had a view over the car park, even... More

Yet another superb bowl of moules marinieres at Norden House. I went with 7 friends and we had 5 different meals - all very good. Very pleasant waitress, quick service, well presented food. Sorry it closes for the winter!

Really appreciated the welcome from Matt and an excellent breakfast too but the rooms were dated and the cheap pine bed and mattress needed replacing. But chucking out time on day of departure is 10.30 and I asked and was given an extra few minutes however at 10.20 a large man, who kept calling me "mate" ( I'd never met... More

Set on a farm. Reasonably priced and excellent quality food - well worth a visit. Parkin on site. Does tend to get booked up at weekends so book in advance.

We had a very good meal here, we had the ribs, they were really good. Small wine list. If I were to criticise, would say the small restaurant lacked atmosphere.

Visited on a quiet midweek evening. Dining environment clean with a farmhouse feel. Classic pub type menu which was well executed. Both had whitebait for starters (nicely battered, nice tartar sauce). The chicken supreme had a wonderful veloute sauce: very rich & salty, with tasty wild mushrooms. As quite full, didn't try desserts. Just over £40 for two, including drinks.... More

I visited this lovely farmhouse restaurant in July while we were camping near Corfe Castle. We were warmly welcomed by the polite, attentive waiter who was really polite and showed us to our table. I was driving so obviously couldn't drink alcohol and was gobsmacked at how cheap the soft drinks were £1.50 for a glass of lemonade or coke.... More

Booked a table for Easter Sunday, Food came and apart from being just warm it was not well presented, Vegetable portions varied from plate to plate and on other tables much bigger!. My Beef (one slice!!) was well done as I asked for but had several lines of fat running through making it unpleasant to eat. Yorkshires were cold. The... More
