We visit the Scott Arms a few times every year as we camp regularly in Corfe. The view makes this probably my favourite pub garden anywhere, and the choice of local ciders is great. This year however there was a massive deterioration in the service. The bar staff were apathetic every time we visited, and when we ate at the... More

Lovely looking pub with great views and really great idea of a Jamaican Jerk Shack in the garden area..... but the place was either short staff or very slow to serve drinks, huge queue at the bar, 2 barrels off and no one to change them I heard the bar staff say. Group of us eat from the Jerk Shack,... More

We stopped in here for a drink on the way back from Durdles door and found that it was a beautiful little pub. Fantastic views from the beer garden too! Coffee and beer was good. We didn't eat here but the food looked/smelt nice and we probably would return here for food. Only slight drawback was parking - quite a... More

We only intended to stop for a beer or two but decided to eat and we found the food very good. They had some nice vegetarian options for two of our party (a Moroccan dish) while I went for the guinea fowl with lyonnaise potatoes and garlic crunchy runner beans and my friend had the fish and chips. All good... More

Have previously left rave reviews here about the Jerkshack , but this week decided to try the pub food ( Monday ). We ordered 1 starter and 3 mains. Our mains arrived without the starter coming. The waitress was totally apathetic when we pointed this out....then the barman came over and said ' To compensate we won't charge you for... More

This should be a good pub. The building has lots of character and the views of Corfe Castle are to die for. The food is OK. We stayed for two nights. Our room was nice, although the plumbing was smelly and the lights circuit fused on our second night. But the worst aspect was the breakfast arrangements. Breakfast starts at... More

We visit the Scott Arms each time we are in the area and until this year, we have enjoyed excellent food, beer and service. They have changed their steaks from sirloin to rump and the carnivores in my family declared them not as good as usual and the accompanying chips arrived warm not piping hot. My warm lamb salad was... More

Visited with the children (2&5) for my birthday lunch. Lots of room in garden for them to play and run around so lucky it was a nice sunny day. Food was delicious. Nice large portions even for the kids food. Slightly pricy but the quality and quantity warrants this price. Very impressed

Beautiful location, superb views - meals, service and inside atmosphere totally disappointing. I remember this pub from my childhood, it was spectacular - it was very sad to see how it has deteriorated. Obviously it keeps going on the holiday trade and doesn't give a dam to keeping up standards. Will not be returning or recommending!!
