Sadly, we only visited once during our holiday stay for a lunchtime drink and a snack. The Pub is full of character with spectacular views over Corfe Castle. The ale is excellent and there is a varied menu. All the food we saw being served looked delicious

The food at the Scott Arms is very good, well presented and moderately priced. Although on our visit the main lounge with the best view was being redecorated we still had a lovely meal and were able to enjoy the view on the way in. From the back garden of the pub you can see directly over to Corfe Castle... More

Booked a week before for a good price, stayed only 2 nights as we just wanted a nice little holiday, was pleasantly surprised about how lovely and clean our room was, a nice en-suit too, the drains are a bit slow on draining and I was standing in a deep puddle whilst showering, also in the sink the drainage was... Walked to the Scott Arms for mid-week lunch. Both had the ploughman's lunch which was ok, but nothing special. Wonderful views from the garden but an average experience overall.

The food was delicious and the hospitality was perfect. I particularly liked that they didn't ask if we enjoyed the food until after we had finished. There was a respectable gap between courses and staff were extremely polite and friendly 😊 highly recommend. Ignore any negative comments until you've tried it for yourself 😉 glad I did. We visited for lunch and while it was busy, there were several tables free. Some were marked as reserved, however having sat down and read the menu, my partner queued at the bar to place our order. During this time I was approached and told that despite there being no marking to show this, my table was reserved. I was... More

Midweek lunch with friends. Dining room overlooking the garden has great views to Corfe Castle and beyond. Food was wholesome and tasty but £12.95 for sausage and mash is a bit steep. The building inside is interesting with several different dining areas. It was very quiet when we visited, just before they stop serving lunch at 2.30pm, they were just... More

Haven't been here for a while as the last couple of occasions my husband and I visited we were very disappointed as the quality of food and the whole ambience of the place had deteriorated. Seemed to have changed hands. Used to enjoy coming here from Bournemouth after a walk on summer evenings. It has now been a couple of... More

We visited for lunch yesterday having planned to go somewhere else that was closed. I must admit having read reviews and visited for drinks previously we wasn't expecting too much. We ordered from the specials board, a calamari with black garlic aioli dip to share (the dip was fantastic and we were sure there may have been some secret spices... More

Large beer garden with fabulous views over the fields to Corfe castle. Car park at the back and some parking on the road but can get busy in the summer so don't leave it too late!
