....hosted by the equally lovely Heidi who manages the restaurant with style. We would recommend but worth noting the menu is small and the beer selection a little disappointing. That said we love the hotel and will keep returning!

Took my wife there for a birthday dinner. Both had Cornish baked hake with crushed potatoes wilted spinach and white wine sauce. Absolutely delicious. Wine a bit on the steep side but very good. Waiting staff friendly and attentive. Next time, will stick to a beer to reign in cost, but REALLY enjoyed the food.

Sadly very disappointed , the restaurant was busy and looked inviting the weather was changeable so we decided to have a good lunch on our last day of the holiday. Cant say i found the staff over welcoming we ordered 2 steaks and a rack of lamb. I should have sent mine back the chips were luke warm and soggy... More

Had lunch at the restaurant. Service was very good. The food was good quality with reasonable portions. Prices a little on the high side but it is in an expensive hotel. Decor a little stark.

Unfortunately for us (and due to the bad weather conditions on the second day) we had both our evening meals in the brasserie. I would have preferred to eat at the main restaurant, Doyles as on a previous stay we found this to be the superior restaurant with a more select menu and quality of food but the brasserie opened... We ate here as we were staying at the Woolacombe Bay hotel. The food was lovely, and the service was excellent. There was a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area.

A group of seven of us visited this restaurant for a last dinner in Woolacombe and really couldn't fault it. While I appreciate some of the comments about the sterility of the formulaic decor, this was more than made up for by the delicious food and charm of the friendly and professional staff. Every item we chose from the menu... More
