We popped into the TFH for tea and cake - WOW! I simply wish we’d taken a photo of it, but we couldn’t wait to tuck in. So, apologies for no photograph. The setting is perfect - friendly, picturesque and service with a genuine smile....It was a lovely haven away from Woolacombe. We will be returning for the home-made Victoria Sponge and Lemon Drizzle. Thank you Zaina and team.More

My husband and I have been visiting Mortehoe whilst camping at the equally brilliant Damage Barton campsite nearby the past few years! We have visited the cafe but not particularly been wowed by it:( However the new tenants who are running it have put in...a huge effort and really turned it around! We had a beautiful and very tasty toastie followed by cream teas and hot beverages! All food is meat free but tbh the flavours are so good you don't really miss it. Every effort was made to give us a really good lunch and the young lady running it was really friendly and helpful even getting bus timetables out for us to look at! Most definitely a very good place to eat in or out and a lovely selection of beautiful home made cakes baked on the premises! They really do deserve to do well! I also believe they do B & B from the premises :) We done to all the staff - Martine & Robert Crowley:)More

Our second visit to the Town Farmhouse and once again we were not disappointed, stayed for a week bed and breakfast. Everything was top notch, from the welcome we received right throughout to our last day. All the staff are super friendly and have one...thing in mind, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Zaina is a great host who we get on really well with. Do not hesitate to stay here, from convenient walks on the coast path, to probably the best beaches in the UK, also if needed a good local bus service to all local areas. This is our favourite part of the UK, and if you have never been, put it on your bucket list. Once again thanks for a wonderful stay and hope to see you all again soon Phil and SylvMore

The menu isn’t large but the slices of delicious cakes are! We wanted a sandwich but they weren’t on the menu, so we ordered a cheese, onion & tomato relish toastie, which came with slaw, a small, but nice, salad and crisps. It came very...quickly, served by a nice & friendly waitress, & it tasted very good. We also had tea for two & a slice of lemon cream sponge. You can see the quality of the bake even before you taste it. If you plan to visit be aware that they stop making food after 2pm & then only sell drinks & cake, but it’s worth a journey.More

Beautiful B&B, we had rooms 5&6, private access with a twin and king and a shared bathroom, perfect for a family trip, really nicely decorated with tea, coffee provided, tv in both rooms, comfy beds, Wi-Fi, local soaps etc… Breakfast was great, even the carnivore...kids didn’t mind the veggie breakfast and it was all cooked beautifully. The staff and owners are lovely, friendly and helpful and we also had a fab cream tea during our stay. Highly recommend!More

Stopped off on our way back to the car after a day at the beach. Was about 25 minutes before closing but service was still amazing - we weren’t rushed or made to feel an inconvenience at all. We were offered glasses of water as...soon as we arrived as they knew we had just walked up the hill! I had the last cream tea available (thank goodness!) and we also ordered a plain scone with butter and a millionaire shortbread. Well the shortbread was the biggest I’ve ever seen! And the cream tea was delicious. Really good quality. Super friendly service and so cheap! Compared to places in town which charge double the amount for a cream tea. I’d come back here again any day.More

Had the best cream tea I’ve had for ages at this little place. Lashings of cream & jam, fab scone, perfect tea, all served with a smile ! Nice seating area directly out the front opposite the church. Dog friendly.

Popped in for a quick lunch break whilst on costal path walk. Most welcoming reception, friendly atmosphere and very enjoyable cheesy toastie and cheese scone (advertised as singular but served with 2!); both services with delicious relishes and the toastie with salad, homemade coleslaw and...crisps. Just what we wanted. They do have homemade cakes too but we resisted the temptation to see if they tasted as good as they looked but judging by appreciative comments of other customers they do!More

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights bed and breakfast at this beautiful National Trust property , The owners Zaina and Matt were so welcoming when we arrived. Nothing was to much trouble during our stay and the breakfasts were filling and tasty. Also...the use of the gardens was a nice touch. This is a wonderful spot to go walking over Morte Point or take in the Sour West coastal path. Having been coming to this area for 40years we can honestly say our stay here was up there with anywhere else we have been to. If you want peace and quiet and a nice village location then you cannot do any better. Also the cream teas at the Town Farmhouses are delicious. Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Thank you both for a lovely stay and god luck in all you do in the future. Phil and Sylv.More

Sorry, we only stopped here for tea and do not know about the accommodation. It would be worth phoning the venue and discussing this with them.
