Great local deli located on the Strand with outside tables also really good take-away hot choc and coffee. Friendly staff. Recommend the blue cheese & sunflower seed scones, Tom's pies, caramel & choc florentines. Lovely gift items too.
Local businesses need everyone to support them.
Ordered some lovely items to use at home and feel 100% pleased with them all. Cakes are lovely and the breakfast quiche is exceptional , well done deli on the strand
We were looking for a light lunch where we could sit outside and enjoy the good weather. We chose the Deli on the Strand simply because there was an empty table . There wasn't a big choice but what there was all looked good. My...partner had salami and brie sandwich I had a crustless quiche. The sandwich was prepacked but fresh with plenty of good quality and tasty filling, the quiche was still warm and packed with feta and veg. Coffee was also really good.
Service was friendly. Our experience over the past couple of weeks is that service in Devon has been almost always friendly and welcoming.More
We only had flat whites and a polenta cake (to prepare us for the cycle trail) but lovely coffee and cake; the tables on the strand were well laid out and everything felt safe. We would love to go back to try some of the...lunchtime goods on display.More
What a delightful way to spend my Saturday morning, sipping a delicious cup of coffee in the sunshine outside Deli on the Strand. We always make a detour to this charming Deli whenever we are visiting the area. It was also refreshing to see social...distancing was being observed and monitored by the staff. Well done!More
l took Mum out into town as she'd been in lockdown for such a long time. I confess I was nervous about going into a place and was thrilled to see the Deli had socially distanced tables outside with a shady umbrella, Delicious larger than...usual scones, abundance of fresh clotted cream and superb locally sourced jam....good quality tea for Mum and great coffee for me. Perfect!More
