Very welcoming and good food.

Early evening visit and the welcome could not have been better. A very happy young barmaid who would brighten up any establishment and excellent service to follow. A very good burger was my choice of food and, whilst it looked promising it didn't really hit that mark. Good but not excellent when it... read more

After sampling a real ale and choosing it to drink was told after it was poured that it was 6 pounds a pint!, ouch!, ordered two meals one homemade burger which was beautiful but the second meal of a stone baked pizza in the menu stated it had mozzarella cheese but came out with a strong cheddar instead which over... Early evening visit and the welcome could not have been better. A very happy young barmaid who would brighten up any establishment and excellent service to follow. A very good burger was my choice of food and, whilst it looked promising it didn't really hit that mark. Good but not excellent when it probably could have been. Will go back... More

Called in last Friday night after being disappointed with a pub in the square . Great atmosphere , superb real ale ( actually brewed by the licensee ) , reasonably priced . We enjoyed the evening so much we went straight back there on Saturday night and it was exactly the same , brilliant ! We didn't eat there but... More

Nice atmosphere, always like the varied music playing for Sunday lunch. Had Lovely Mussels with bacon in a creamy wine sauce and flat bread, partner had Home made Burgers which he loved with their own made chips, will be going back again.

Have eaten in the grapevine many times and loved it . Not sure what's gone wrong but on the last two occasions the food has been awful, unfortunately on both occasions we were with others and didn't want to cause a fuss, but I was very disappointed, with cold greasy food. Staff and beers still lovely.

The Grapevine is the greatest place to eat in Exmouth. As a pub, I would highlight good food and excellent service. Besides that, the Grapevine is a quiet place, ideal to relax while you eat. By the way, brilliant music too!

On a one night stay in Exmouth we opted to visit the Grapevine for an evening meal before going to a concert. The pub has a good easy-going unpretentious atmosphere, the bar and serving staff were young, friendly and efficient. I chose a pasta dish and my wife fish and chips. They were produced very quickly and were well presented,... More

They now have what seems slightly less exotic food menu but a wide selection of delicious dishes. A new menu is due shortly so there were a few of the old items no longer available but still adequate choices Food quality was excellent, prices were good except for some wines which whilst they may have been a bit up market...
