Last minute decision to eat out. Thought we'd try The Grapevine as haven't been there for ages. New menu which basically consists of burgers. Very nice burgers but not a lot of choice if you want something different .

We didn't eat here as sadly we had booked elsewhere. Having seen so many meals pass in front of my eyes I shall definitely eat here on my next visit. We arrived to be greeted by the barmaid with the news that Happy Hour had just begun. The enthusiasm from this young lady was good. She is a credit to... More

Felt it was just another chain with mediocre Food and dodgy service. Seems the norm I won't be back in a hurry

On our annual trip to Exmouth it has always been difficult to find a good pub - in fact we've ended up eating at some pretty awful places. But this one is very, very good. Centrally-located, but slightly off the beaten track, it has a lot of space inside and outside, and the bar and decor are both individual and... More

Ate here last winter and had a wonderfully comforting and memorable dish of sausages and mash with a blackberry jus, very imaginative twist. Returned a few weeks ago and had a second marvellous dish of chicken in a cider and mustard sauce, the chicken was moist and delicious. Presentation and the quality of the food here is of the highest... More

We've met in here a few times to discuss work over a meal and a drink. We usually visit during the day, when it's quiet, which works well for me! They have a great selection of beers (I'd recommend the Dragon's Tears), and the food is pretty decent. Burger and chips, or fish and chips are nice! My only bug... More

A friendly pub to meet friends for a drink - a great choice of beers. We didn't have a meal although the food taken to other tables all looked very good.

Following the completion of a costal walk from Budleigh Salterton to Exmouth, we were in need of refreshment. Although it wasn't busy there was a warm welcome, we chose the steak sandwich which came with onion chutney and mushrooms , chips and homemade red cabbage 'slaw. It was served promptly a more than generous portion and very tasty. There were... More

Our final night on tour saw us visit the Grapevine for a few more drinks (like we needed them!) as we had been told there would be live music. There was and it was pretty decent. The Grapevine had good staff, who served drinks quickly and efficiently - and with a smile. They have a great range of bottled beers... More

Paid a couple of visits to The Grapevine as one of the better pubs around for decent ale. Had quite a large selection too. Ate here one night and the menu is pretty decent and the food didn't disappoint. There is an offer of a small handmade pizza and a glass of Prosecco for £4.95 which is good value. There... More

The Grapevine is a Pub in the centre of Exmouth, serving local ales, its own brewed beer craft beer and excellent food. We are just off the town centre near the Strand and are family friendly and dog friendly.
