Its not easy producing a good, fresh salad at this time of the year. The chefs at The grapevine can do it and do it well. The avocado and Halloumis salad was just as good as the spicy chicken. The mixed salad was fresh, crunchy and tasty. Burgers are good too Beer selections are legion - nad a decent wine... More

My partner & I thought we'd give this place a go, we live locally & always mean to pop in! We went in at 6:45ish on a Monday night, it was fairly quiet but quite a few tables were reserved for the quiz that night, we found a table out the way but we could still see what was going... More

The Grapevine is our go to pub whenever we are home in exmouth. Family friendly, dog friendly, Ruby kitchen burgers are delicious and the live music evenings are great fun with an amazing atmosphere. Best pub in Exmouth.

For the people suggesting that this place is similar to McDonalds or a similar chain restaurant, I say that they must be on drugs. This place has great service, massive selection of beers and the Ruby burgers are to die for! I had the 'Spicy', which was fantastic. Perfect place to meet and have a great mid week meal and... Quite nice and interesting inside here. Ruby was the kitchen when we were there, and they did some good burgers. The pub also does some really cool beer they brew themselves.

But expensive. You can order a take-away for your beer as a gift (or simply take home and drink it all yourself). Due to the layout it can feel more crowded than it actually is, plus with them serving burgers (which looked lovely by the way), it can get a bit mad at the weekend. Recommended.

This used to be a favourite for taking visitors to when visiting back home. Whilst my partner enjoyed exmouth and appreciated the gluten free option,it was a shame to seen that this place had sold out to some of the bigger names.

Friday night is band night so expect this pub to be busy and noisy. I have given an excellent five-point rating for several reasons. The staff are lovely, friendly and eager to help. The brewhouse ales are first class. The menu is all about burgers but these are quality Ruby Burgers. A great mix of age groups, I'm in my... More

The Grapevine, as I have previously reported, was my favourite pub in Exmouth. Unfortunately it's recently suffered a makeover with the apparent intention of turning it into a branch of McDonald's. Instead of the varied and excellent food menu it now offers a limited range of very expensive burgers (£9-£13), and when we visited on Sunday lunchtime the place was... More
