we hadn't been here for years and had fond memories. Having got soaked int he rain, we looked forward to going back and it didn't disappoint! Great enthusiastic service, a wide range of choices of food from great pub grub to more unusual options and a really nice atmosphere. The only disappointing thing was that we couldn't sit outside to... More

Took family of 4 adults to the Warren House Inn. The pub was very busy and a brisk wind coming off the moor forced us to eat indoors. The welcome from bar staff was warm and accommodating. Even a pleasant word and pat for our dog. The pub is everything you'd expect for its age and is unspoilt. Good bar... More

The Warren Inn is set in a superb location and in my humble opinion relies on this too much. With a bit more effort, it could be a cracking pub to eat and drink at, but they don't have to try as the passing trade, no doubt provides a sensible return. Food is slightly over priced - compared to others... More

The beer is good. The food is OK. The location and the view is unique though. Go on a warm summer evening and sit outside. Expect to pay quite a bit more than local averages for drinks.

A welcome return to one of our favourites from last year's holiday. Great pub, nice beer and a friendly face in the middle of Dartmoor.

Tonight was date night for my partner and myself where we handed over our daughter to the grandparents and could go seek out a rare peaceful meal time! After doing a lot of research to find a pub located in the heart of the moors I found this little treasure and along with the surroundings the grub was also delicious!... More

A must stop location when visiting Dartmoor. We were able to sit by the 145 year burning fire on a cool evening. Food is Pub food but good. Who cares really with a view like this!

Menu quite limited but what they have on offer is cooked very very nice. Fire always lit. Muddy boots and dogs welcome. A perfect place to stop for a meal or just a drink after a walk.
