this pub is quite unique as it is situated in Dartmoor Nat.Park and it stands alone with no other visible buildings. Sheep and longhorn cows walk idly by as you eat and drink! Dogs also very welcome. I could imagine this place would be a warm welcoming place on a cold winters night on the moor.

A must visit right in the heart of Dartmoor. When it's cold and bleak outside, the inside is warm and cosy. Great beers and good food.

We stopped at this pub on a lovely sunny day whilst enjoying Dartmoor. The views are spectacular. If you want a guaranteed table inside you must book. We ate a traditional plough mans and the house speciality rabbit pie. Both were exceptional. We will take a note and certainly re-visit.

7 of us enjoyed a pub lunch here. Stunning views, cosy feel, toasty warm. Steak pies were top notch, Mediterranean sausages with mash were tasty and good value, pasties not so great. All round though we had a great lunch and not too pricey either.

We have visited here before many years ago and on leaving our holiday in Cornwall decided to detour to here for lunch. The views are spectacular the welcome exceptional. This is a busy pub but everyone who came through the door was treated with a warm greeting and a smile. The food was great and we didn't wait too long... More

Popped into the pub for some hiking directions very friendly had planned to go back for dinner that night anyway but the helpful attitude confirmed that for us. Not a huge choice on menu but was still hard to choose what to have. Food was plenty, had the lamb shank, more like sheep shank it was huge. Also the Steak... More

Location is everything here. Isolated spot on Dartmoor with stunning views. Pub food, limited menu but very well done. Friendly smiley service and vary popular. Good selection of local ales.

We went and visited the family grave in North Bovey today, as it would have been my mum's birthday tomorrow. Afterwards we decided to take a drive back over the moors, and wanted to stop and eat. As The Warren House Inn came into view, we thought, haven't been in there for years, shall we! Glad we did, we were... More

Great pub lunch, fresh fish, great beer and a blazing fire made for a welcome place to visit on a chilly, wet day on Dartmoor.
