fabulous steak , excellent portion size with home made chips. have visited several times and never been disappointed, excellent value for not a lot of money, good selection of beers and real ales

Lovely pub which serves great food and drinks, staff and landlord are all lovely and welcoming you don't find many pubs like this around anymore but this one is definitely worth a visit.

had a meal which is home cooked and very reasonable price. Husband said the local beer is good and staff happy to serve you.

Great old fashioned Pub good beer, food and people. Good fun quiz on a Monday and live music about once a month.Dave the guvnor is exactly that a proper old school landlord who knows his regulars and how to treat them.

A great pub with great staff, food and fantastic live music most Saturday's. The best pub I have ever been to. A must visit time-and-time again.

Very good central pub in centre of small country town with high standard classic pub food in good traditional surroundings. Easily worth a Tripadvisor entry.
