Good value pub food, well cooked. The weekend carvery is excellent as is the fish. Ideal if you are travelling as the pub is right by the Devon Expressway and the service is good.

Loads of good choices, *fresh* veggies, vegetarian options, and welcoming personnel. We didn't make reservations, but were welcomed anyway. Lot of people there - lovely athmosphere.

Picked the pub from TripAdvisor reviews and wasn't disappointed! Lovely warm welcome, great selection of beers and each lunch choice was delicious.

The food was great, I had gammon, it was so tender and tasty. My husband had beef and ale pie,which had loads of delicious tender beef. Full bellies after this. The staff were also very friendly and a nice warm atmosphere
