Helpful and friendly staff and customers. Steak pie and Devon chicken were lovely. Good beer on too. Lovely to see an old pub that hasnt been spoilt by over modernisation. Struggled to park but worth the walk

We had the roast, which was nice. Landlady and locals were all very pleasant. Very traditional pub, which was relaxed.

We use the bishop lacy take away as it’s consistently brilliant, fantastic value for money and fresh home cooking. Can’t beat it. Also love eating in the restaurant too, friendly welcoming staff, would definitely recommend 😊
