I sent an email enquiry about a group booking for 28 - 35 people. Seven days elapsed without a response so I made a telephone call. The female who answered the phone was abrupt and came across as disinterested in my enquiry. I told her that I didn't like her tone and didn't feel inclined to pursue my potential booking.... More

Went for a family meal early evening. Big plus point - staff; thought everyone we dealt with was very friendly. Mixed reviews about the food we had. Kids portions were large and desserts well liked, but all dishes with mince in didn't get the best response - a bit dry. Nice pub with big and sunny beer garden.

we had fish and chips but it was very bad value. At over £11 each we had a small fillet of fish( nearly all batter) chips I think were oven ones, No peas. might as well gone to weatherspoons at half the price and more of it.

Typical pub grub nothing special. The saving grace was dessert. Sticky toffee with salted caramel ice cream. This was lovely. Wouldn't go back.

My hubby and I have joined our friends with their 2 children for a meal, our table was booked for 7pm. Our drinks and food were ordered soon after arrival, and after requesting changes to the children's set menu, the chef was very accommodating as the children are disabled and have complex eating needs. He agreed to amend their meals... More

Went for a meal with family to celebrate Mums birthday. Mains were very good but sweet was disappointing. Not up to standard expected and was dealt with by hosts quickly and refund arranged. Was a delay in sweet being served but would not stop Me going again if in the area.

We popped in for a snack, lovely, we had a lovely fresh beef sandwich with a small portion of chips, it was huge, lovely and fresh and tasty. The staff were also lovely. Looking at the menu would definitely recommend anyone come here for food.
