We had a family and friends meeting at this pub recently. The location is really pleasant with a charming garden overlooking the countryside. We had lunch, a selection of different dishes from a somewhat limited menu. Whilst the food was quite acceptable, for a pub,...More

Have eaten here several times over the years, and it is exactly what you would expect from an good old English pub - good wholesome food without being pretentious. Would happily eat there again when in the area.

It is good to see this lovely pub being full of customers again. It has had numerous owners/managers in recent years, but the new ones have certainly got the menu and size of portions right. Years ago it was always recognised as having a 'value...More
