We stayed for a week in Chagford and visited the Three Crowns every day! The good was delicious, a varied specials menu with great quality produce! I also managed to sample a few sloe proseccos during each visit 🍾! We were made to feel most welcome by management and staff alike, who were all very friendly. Our two little dogs... More

As a local, in recent years I have avoided the Three Crowns as it has not been the best. However, last night I attended a Murder Mystery night at the hotel and my opinion of the hotel was changed. The food was excellent, not huge portions but the flavour and presentation more than made up for it, the service (for... More

We've been looking for a Pub Restaurant who do a great Sunday Roast for a long time trying many local places along with those on our travels. Some have been good and others not so. Whilst we we're staying in a cottage in Great Weeke near Chagford we had a fantastic meal at the Three Crowns which to date has... More

We have visited a couple of times in the last few months to give the food a try and also join in with the quiz. First, the food. Excellent, well presented with more than a little thought put in to the menu. The staff are very efficient and friendly and the whole place has a nice warm buzz to it.... More

My wife and I have eaten here together, and thanks to that initial experience came back for a family dinner. There is a good feel to this traditional dartmoor inn, with friendly welcoming staff. A cosy bar area, an open fire and well stocked bar. The dining room is a modern extension which is open airy and light. The menu... More

We're delighted that John and Steve are back at the helm. 10 of us popped in for an impromptu dinner on a warm sunny evening. We were greeted like old friends and had a wonderful dinner sitting outside in the courtyard with our children and dogs. The food was lovely, no fuss, no delay, exactly what we'd ordered. The staff... More

Visited Chagford for the weekend with 2 other couples and stayed in The Three Crowns which was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and the rooms spacious and clean. Dinner on the first night in the restaurant was well received by us all. Large portions - especially the Seafood/Fish Board for 2 to share.

Myself and my husband came here on Sunday for dinner, the food was delicious and we were impressed with the extensive wine list. The service was very good, even though the restaurant was very busy and staff were friendly and very attentive. The bar area had a cosy relaxed feel about it and a gorgeous log fire. We were made...
