We spent some time exploring Buckfastleigh during our holiday in Devon and we came across The Singing Kettle which looked to be perfect to enjoy a cream tea. We were the only ones in the tea shop but we had a very warm welcome and...More

Having visited twice in the last couple of weeks for lunch I can only say that the food both times was brilliant. As well as excellent food the service was second to none. I could not recommend this restaurant highly enough but sadly I believe...More

We are on Holiday here and as a vegetarian I find it so hard to find a decent vegetarian breakfast that doesn't just mean removing the meat and not offering an alternative. At the singing kettle you get lovely quorn sausages and mushrooms cooked in...More

Brought my mum and family here for a treat. We had a wonderful experience. Could not fault the surroundings, food or waitress. Would love to come back at Christmas! Excellent cauliflower cheese 👍

I am very sorry about your experience at The Singing Kettle. I am still not sure why the waitress did not respond to your request but we did apologise and also did not charge you for your scone, cream and jam. As for the scones,...More

Stumbled on this gorgeous quaint tea room in Buckfastleigh whilst on holiday. Had the most delicious Devon cream tea for two. Two huge freshly baked scones each with jam & clotted cream & the delicious Fatroc coffee. Polite & friendly staff & customers. Highly recommended.

It was a lovely sunny day and we wanted to eat outside and found this little gem of a beautiful setting. Looks appealing at the front but once you walk round the back the garden looks amnazing. A beautiful setting for a lovely lunch.
