Had a lovely Saturday evening here with my mother and 2 kids (8 & 10). Friendly staff, great traditional pub grub, Chocolate fudge cake made locally by Sheila up the road and good selection of real ale. What's not to like?

We shared a lovely simple meal here with friendly service and the weather washing over the rolling hills made a spectacular view. Dog friendly :)) and easy parking. Thank you!

Cold and hungry in the hill-side village of Hennock, the cosy-looking free-house pub seemed like the obvious place to be. And what a very pleasant surprise it was. I would imagine the Palk Arms is humming at holiday times. It has everything, attractive bar and...More

Sorry but the outside of this pub looked dirty, cigarette bin was full, and side of pub looked like a dumping ground, read reviews before visiting , however, because of the first impressions it put us right off. We decided to go elsewhere.
