This restaurant has some of the freshest and best fish in Brixham. Food is tasty and always a little different, a good menu and wine list. Can be a bit pricy for some though.

WE were staying at the hotel, so it wasnt a deffinate that we would eat there, but after a hearty walk all round Brixham, for the major regional fishing port it is, there are few fish shops in the vicinity and even fewer restaurants which are based around fish being the mnajor on the menu's. Whilst the menu caters for... More

My wife and I ate at the restaurant and the food is quite poor. Not poor enough to ask for a refund as it was edible but that is the best you can say. I am vegetarian and there is a lack of options, just 1 starter and 1 main but this isn't unusually in restaurants. The main vegetarian option... More

As titled good for fish. Unfortunately not a lot else. As this is a fishing port I can understand the large fish menu but what about non-piscaterians? Can't help but feel that the restaurant is missing out on a large proportion of clients.

An intimate yet spacious restaurant that is art of the Quayside Hotel. Delicious fish from a choice of the catch of the day. The bread and puddings are also marvellous. Not expensive for the delightfulness of the food and standard of cooking.

Booked for brixfest end of may great stay the crab spaghetti is the best and a good choice for breakfast, my only negative comment and please owners don't take this to heart, I'm a light sleeper and being above the bar was great on the night but 6pm the chillers started humming as they started up so no relaxing lie... I can't work out why I can't quite give this restaurant an Excellent rating. The menu is quite wide ranging (while an emphasis is on local fish), the presentation is excellent and there is no doubting the elegance of the surroundings or the professionalism of the staff. Maybe my taste buds were jaded as nothing quite seemed quite to live... More

Excellent ambiance, excellent food, excellent service. We had a throughly enjoyable meal at the restaurant of this hotel. A varied menu, not too over priced, with a wide selection of wines from which to choose. My partner choose scallops to start with fish of the day to follow while I choose French onion soup followed by the confit of duck... More

We decided that after some very disappointing visits to the berry head hotel we would celebrate my mothers birthday at the quayside. I can honestly say that the decision was the correct one. There were a few anomalies but these could easily be overcome. The first anomaly was the barman, who later became a waiter, he had no idea at all,... More
