I have been to The Breakwater Bistro several times and it has never failed to impress. The new extension makes even more of the fabulous vista of Torbay, while fully protecting customers from our variable British weather. Friendly, staff, excellent good value food and great views, what more could you want? Sunshine? Well the English Riviera has more of that... More

Visited Brixham last week. Just wanted to say how fabulous the food is at your establishment. Our son bought some chips one day - really lovely. We then decided to have lunch from you on the beach the next day. My cheeseburger was probably the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten.

Popped in for a bacon roll and a coffee before our coastal walk and happened to glance at the full menu, upon which we decided to eat there later. We were not disappointed, the staff were very friendly and courteous, the food was fantastic, a real must for sea food lovers, can't wait to visit again.

This may just look like any old beach caff with pretty basic furniture and sauce bottles on the tables, but the food is excellent with some imaginative choices and all sensibly priced. Lots of fish dishes but also others. The service is excellent, efficient and friendly and the staff seem to enjoy their job. When we went to the till... More

This is a bustling cafe on the side of the carpark at Brixham marina. It was crowded with families and kids when we arrived for an early evening dinner. Have to say our food was fresh, tasty and piping hot. The efficient and energetic staff are geared to brisk turnarounds, so our two courses were practically cleared away within 30... More

We had scones and tea , and also the cheesy chips which would highly recommend. Beautiful views across Torbay and very pleasant surroundings.

Overlooking the historic breakwater at Brixham, offering good value, imaginative cuisine, fast efficient service. We spent several lunchtimes enjoying the food, the views and the ambience of this very good restaurant.

I've been visiting The Breakwater Bistro for years even, when it was a cafe....every so often it reinvents itself and gets better and better. Get up early and have a tea or coffee and watch Torbay awake...even in winter...

Have stayed a few mins walk from here two years in a row and have used this place for breakfast as well as lunch. Nice sea views from upstairs and the newly glass roofed conservatory ( was too hot when the mercury rose above 30 though). Friendly service and a nice range of food inc specials. Prices on a par...
