We take our dog here and shes always welcome! The food is first rate every time we visit and they sell guiness! It has a warm and welcoming feel to it and Lee the landlord always greets you with a smile. Lovely beer garden and cosy restaurant.

I've been here a couple of times now when I have been visiting family nearby. The food is great value and the portions are really generous. It's standard 'pub food' which is just done really well. I had lamb shank which was delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere Great local pub!

We followed the road signs looking for a Sunday roast at a pub and stumbled on this gem. Super friendly people on the bar and fantastic road to dinner for £9. The rest of the menu looked a little pricier, but judging from the quality of our food I think you'll be getting some great food for that. Good selection... More

Met up for a lunchtime snack with friends who live local. A very friendly atmosphere good basic home style cooked food, No complaints here. The Scampi and Chips are obvioulsy cooked in well kept quality oil. The fish pie looked fabulous and was recommended by one in our party, as was the liver and bacon with onion topping. All excellent!

We were recommended to eat here by the owners of our holiday cottage and getting a 10% discount didn't hurt either ! The menus aren't huge and we were warned in advance that it could take some time to get served as they cook as much as possible fresh - not a problem. In the end, it was probably about... More

Great place - very friendly service. Great food - sea bass main was very good. As was my lads nachos. Puds were brill. Particularly the baofee pie. BUT the highlight is the pub skittles in the games room. It even includes a gutter to return the ball. Genius.
