We have eaten here a number of times when visiting Woolacombe on holiday. We have very much enjoyed brunch (I wish it served it all day!) and dinner here. The food is tasty and there are always some specials so that you can try something new. The pancakes on the breakfast menu are great! For dinner I had the crab... More

Recommended by others and we agree. Nice fresh food. Good staff. Located central Braunton. We would visit again.

Brandon is not short of great restaurants, but wherever else you go I strongly urge you to try the The Riverside. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff are welcoming and helpful and the location is great (you can eat inside or out) ... but the real reason for my recommendation is the menu and the food. The chef and his... More

Extremely friendly staff and amazing food is exactly what you want from a restaurant right? Well this place has all that in spades! The food was amazing, particularly the rich sauces. Everything from the bread to the sorbet was just excellent! Highly recommended.

A fantastic place with attentive staff and wonderful food. We camped at Fairlinch campsite and walked in to Braunton. Considering it's a fairly small place and was absolutely jam packed the food and drinks came promptly. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We went early one evening, very busy with big tables. Bit of a wait for our first course, but was worth it. The bread board, pittas and dip was really tasty followed by the salmon salad was flavoursome and fresh. Friendly service. Definitely worth a visit.

This restaurant does not try to be something it isn't. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The ambience is family oriented. The decor simple but fresh. The menu unchallenging but interesting. We went early as a family group of six plus baby and almost all the tables were a similar mix. Despite being full, the service was prompt and attentive.... More

Phoned to get an early table at short notice and thought we were on to a good thing, the person that took the call was really friendly and helpful. That spirit continued as soon as we arrived (rather early) and throughout the meal. Really varied and adventurous menu, everything we ordered was well cooked and presented and great value for... Very friendly service, both of us enjoyed our meal despite the fact that some key items had sold out. Made our choices from the special boards and thoroughly enjoyed it all, the cold rice pudding with gooseberries was delicious.
