Food, service and the view are simply stunning. A drink out on the cliff edge with views over to Herm. Could not resist the oysters, fabulously fresh and delicious. Mains was local steak rare and cheese to finish. Nothing was too much trouble and we were a party of 9 including a baby. My second visit and it will not... More

This will have been my 4th visit to the L'Auberge and the great food and good service are very consistent. My guest started with the scallops and went on to the half lobster and chips while I started with the Panco crumbed Camembert followed by Sea Bream. This including a bottle of New Zealand white came to £110.00. Food was... More

This place never disappoints me. I love the Sunday menu, there is always something for everyone. Prompt friendly service, and I never feel like I am being rushed. It's the perfect place for a family meal, a catch up with friends or a cosy meal for two.

Excellent views Good service and quality food no overload. Relaxed atmosphere. I am a local and frequently take guests to this restaurant. We are lucky in having many good restaurants on the island the position overlooking smaller islands makes it special.

Good food and service in a pleasant restaurant with fantastic views over St Peter Port. The only down side is that it is all hard surfaces so gets very noisy.

Recommended by our Guernsey host, dinner here was a pleasurable experience. Watermelon gazpacho a winner, crab bonbons (like gefillte fish) very nice but nothing special. Fishy mains excellent, lobster and chips, scallops melt in the melt softness, with a simple rocket and parmesan salad. Finished off with fairly standard desserts - all in all a most enjoyable meal. As an... More

What can be better than eating great food looking out over a fantastic view. We really enjoyed visiting this restaurant, so much so that we went back two days later. It was a little expensive but we felt it was worth pushing the boat out. The menu is not large but covers most requirements. Do book and ask for a... More

Friends came on a cruise liner and spend a few hours over lunchtime with us. Wondered where to go for lunch and thought of l'Auberge as a place where we had always had excellent meals and if possible a scenic view. So we booked for lunch. Friends were really impressed with the view over the Russel and their cruise liner... More

And stunning views if your table faces the right direction. We went here for a meal one night, we had been years ago. The food is still good but the service was very slow... Perhaps a ploy to get you to drink more alcohol. A recommend though...

My wife and I spent a lovely evening with our close friends at the restaurant. We chose al a carte. So pleased with the attentive service from the moment the four of us arrived. Pre dinner drinks outside overlooking the sea, followed by a delicious meal in fresh and airey modern surroundings. Starters well presented albeit my own choice of... More
