I used the beach bar and the restaurant. The service at both was excellent and my partner and I were well looked after. The location is excellent, overlooking Cobo Bay. The outside terrace is really lovely, and created a relaxed atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was of a good quality, and we both enjoyed our meals.

Four of us for dinner on a Sunday evening - the weather was inclement and the staff had moved our reservation indoors, as originally we had asked to sit outside facing the beach. The fact that they moved us to a table next to windows with a marvelous view was notably thoughtful. We began in the very comfortable and quiet... More

We ate here on our last night in Guernsey and we chose the restaurant based on these reviews. Service was friendly and efficient. The seafood and fish were good, steak really good. Dessert was a bit disappointing after the starter and main although the ice cream was really good (as you expect on Guernsey).

Met with friends on a Friday night - the restaurant was surprisingly quiet but that meant we got a table in the window with the fabulous views of the bay. Crab starter was very acceptable as was my Wife's pate. For mains we shared a divine Chaueaubriand which was beautifully cooked. An excellent very thick and plentiful béarnaise sauce accompanied... We always have a good meal in the restaurant here and decided to try the new Spring A La Carte menu for dinner. So much to choose from, but eventually we made a decision and the food was awesome. The portions are huge so we couldn't manage a dessert and the prices are not expensive for what you get. Next... More

Attention to detail, friendly yet professional service, fresh local produce and panoramic seaviews make dining at the Cobo Bay Hotel a very special occasion. Our stylish restaurant continually wins recognition for the quality its of food and service, including two AA rosettes for culinary excellence, a feat achieved by very few restaurants in Guernsey. Our a la carte menu is available for both lunch and dinner inside & out on The Beach Terrace, specialising in fresh Guernsey seafood and shellfish caught within the bay itself, as well as the finest cuts of meat. Open daily from 10am to 10pm season and weather permitting, The Beach Terrace offers al fresco dining with the finest views that Guernsey has to offer, making it the perfect place to enjoy a warm afternoon or long summer evening watching the sun set on the horizon. With a secluded outdoor bar area, afternoon light bites and home made cakes, this really is Guernsey at its very best.
