I had a fantastic dinner here with a friend recently. The setting is spectacular and we were so lucky to catch an amazing sunset. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The food was extremely tasty and very reasonably priced. Whilst it was cold outside...it was toasty inside due to the wood burning stove. I can’t wait to return when next in Jersey!More

As we were short on time, we had takeaway coffees & flapjacks and ate them on an outside table overlooking St Ouen beach. A fabulous experience!

After visiting the War Tunnels we drove to El Tico for lunch. Very extensive menu options. We had very enjoyable meals. Good choice and the location on the beach was nice.

Two stars for location and quickly sorting out refund for poor quality food offering. Busy place so accepted long wait for food. Antipasto starter was OK but very much supermarket mixed meat pack emptied on a plate with loads of leaf and very little of...the nicer bits. Cheese burger was OK too but no better than what I have at burger King back home. The salad with feta was a great disappointment and had to be sent back for a refund; it came with 3 small pieces of Feta, a couple of cherry tomatoes, a few pieces of cucumber and the rest of the plate was salad leaves from what I can only describe as out if a supermarket packet rather than the claimed fresh salad. If you like loud noise, waitresses who don't interact with you and expensive food then this a place for you. I personally cannot recommend El-Tico as the food was to me "fast food at it's usual mediocre standard at best". I will give this place a miss and stick with better options in the locality.More

Eager to try this again had been b4 when we lived here and on holiday. Rude ignorant waitress, she didnt speak or smile and only smiled when we went to pay! Too little, too late! Antipasto was nice but then you can't go wrong with...packet meat and salad leaves. Husbands burger he said was fine. I had Mediterranean Salad..4 small bits of feta 1cm square, 3 bits of green bean an inch long, one bit of sun dried tomato, one seed of something and a packet of salad leaves. I complained to a different waitress and she said ,"but you didn't order any sides" ...was I supposed to? I wasn't informed. It was deducted from our bill but it totally ruined it for me on my husband's birthday so thanks for that. Can't understand the terrific reviews. OK I suppose if you are of the 18 to 30 group and drunk and dont care what you eat!More

I returned to my homeland of Jersey after 8 years away now living in New Zealand. I took my friend's elderly mother it was a beautiful weekday morning. Having been going here for over 50 years when I was a child it was going to...be a wonderfully nostalgic time enjoying the view and the food. Unfortunately when we sat done on the sea side were told there was not serving there as it was too windy and it absolutely was not Photos enclosed. We ended up in the car park next to a noisy generator or some form of machine and the sound of coming and going delivery trucks. We had a hot drink and left very sad. the staff were rude and very unflexible we also offered to come and get our own food and order inside a big fat NOMore

The food and service at the el tico is always excellent, generally you have to wait for a table but that’s because it’s so popular and worth the wait. The location here is stunning. Good job to everyone.

Having previously raved about the world famous el Tico ribs we decided to enjoy them on a date night while staying on the island. We both were left very disappointed! No where near as great as they used to be and the ‘slaw’ was basically...just a mixed salad. Service and location as always amazing. But very disappointing to see how the recipe has changed.More
