As our first experience of Jersey, this was a real shocker! We came here on the first day of our holiday as we couldn't get into our holiday accommodation until 4pm. It was about 10.30 a.m and we just wanted a drink and a cake. There were 2 adults and 3 children in our party. 3 of us wanted apple... More

The crab here was so fresh it almost scuttled off the plate! Hubby had quiche of the day, which was also very good. Not a fancy place, but clean and friendly, with sensible prices, generous portions of good food and a lovely view over the harbour.

Service wasn't especially welcoming and I would agree with previous reviewers that the counter could look more appetising. That said the food was reasonable and price felt OK. There appeared to be no men's toilet and it was rather disconcerting to see the man preparing the food eating his own lunch at the same time.

Stopped here for lunch as my wife wanted to try lobster for the first time. A tiny cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered lobster salad and mackerel salad with Jersey Royal potatoes and took a table outside as the weather was good. Both dishes were a good size and good quality as we both had clean plates. The... More

Lovely staff, lovely situation and a fab cup of tea and coffee! Next time we will have a jersey cream tea which looked absolutely gorgeous!

There didn't seem to be a lot of love for the food here, with the display counter a jumble of cling-filmed cakes and boxes of sandwich fillings. The cheap bread and bits of shell in the crab sandwiches, meanly garnished with a few crisps doesn't do anything to suggest otherwise. The soup was OK, and the tea pot was automatically... More

Small cafe, very good food and service, in a good location. We enjoyed afternoon tea wi a massive scone and great pot of tea all at a very good price.

Ordered the cream tea from very nice young lady. When it arrived the scone was substantial, there was plenty of jam, cream and some butter but also on the plate was a generous slice of moist Madeira cake. Tea pot was large and we were given enough milk for a couple of cups. The whole tea cost £5.25 (same as... More

I like crab. A lot. And whenever I am by the sea and they are available, that is what I will have. This is a little - tiny cafe, serving fresh sandwiches and light lunches. I can say without hesitation that it was the best crab sandwich I have ever tasted, anywhere in the world. And I am Portuguese, so... More

This is a simple cafe offering good value food (everything from steak pie through to crab salads). The thing I thought it was best for though was the cream tea - great scones!
