Stopped here for a much needed lunch break. We sat inside on a really hot and sunny day as the tables outside were completely full. I had the prawn baguette with Marie Rose sauce. Nice fresh baguette, fresh lettuce, big juicy prawns and a nice and balanced sauce. They have a big freeze that keeps the drinks nice and cold... More

This is a little, unlicensed cafe, opposite the harbour with a lovely view. Just the spot to sit in the sunshine for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea with huge fruit scones, jam and lashings of thick, yellow Jersey cream. The crab sandwiches, a speciality, are choc-a-block with freshly picked crab. All the food is fresh and home-made. Real value... More

Popped in for lunch as I had been told that St Catherine's wasn't doing food. Cross as it was open and we were so disappointed with Cafe Louise. Very few tables so sat outside, very sunny but no umbrellas. Took 20 minutes for two crab sandwiches and a ham baguette. Bread was dry and no garnish just a few crisps.... More

If you like a crab sandwich full of white crab then this is the place for you. My wife enjoyed the cream tea too. They could do with condiments such as vinegar and the pepper pots were blocked and could do with a clean

This little cafe was a welcome retreat on a VERY rainy day in Jersey. However on arrival we saw a sign on the wall which proclaims "I can only please one person a day and today is not you're day." Not the most inviting welcome! A top the menu the less than accommodating hospitality continued with a note proclaiming "we... More

We visited on a summer afternoon and it was RAMMED. Asked for 2 takeaway sandwiches and the manageress (I assume) was rather brusque to say the least... Sandwich and a baguette were greasy spoon standard, which we expected, but bit shocked it was over a tenner. They've obviously cornered the market in Gorey!

Sorry, but first impressions count. We cleared up the table for you and decided to have a Cream Tea. But when a couple of staff passed us several times and then asked us "is this lot yours?" After 20 minutes. " do you want to order?" Then walked off. We gave up and went to Ramsoms garden Centre just up... More

It was very busy on the Sunday we visited, but we managed to find a table & were served almost immediately. We chose to have a pot of tea for 2 with a scone, butter, jam & clotted cream, as the cream tea offered also provided lemon cake, which was too much for us. We were not disappointed, the tea... I have been here a few times but should have remembered my disappointment with the advertised cream tea! While the tea is fine the raisin scone - large, bit dry and pretty sure not home baked - with decanted catering jam and whipped cream is disappointing. I sort of just expected a fresh home baked scone with quality jam and... More

On our arrival day we headed by bus straight to Gorey. After an early flight with no breakfast we were all rather peckish so cafe Louise looked like a good idea. After waiting about ten minutes for a table we sat outside in the lovely sunshine. It was late morning but we were allowed to have the breakfast which seemed... More
