Fish just as it should be both in presentation, flavour and freshness in the heart of Jersey's historic fish market. But don't expect it to be cheap.

Bistro Rosa is a prime example of one of those places that looks nothing special from the outside, has a menu that appears very expensive for a glorified cafe on the edge of the fish market, but shouldn't be missed. We would never have tried it had it not been for the reviews on TripAdvisor, so thank you to all... More

Alarm bells should have rung when the "3rd best restaurant on Jersey" had availability on a Friday night an hour before we wanted to eat. We were seated outside the restaurant itself, in the market, on a white plastic garden table and chairs. The noise from the refrigerators in the market place was horrible. I had moules marinere to start... More

This restaurant is very good but we did eat at better.on our short trip Unfortunately my first choice of food was unavailable and the sea bass that I ordered on the bone arrived filleted. They were very apologetic. Unfortunately my fish also had a fishy taste which seriously fresh fish should not have. However. It was, overall a good meal.

We went after seeing Tripadvisor reviews. It doesn't look much from the outside but the seafood is very good. Well worth a visit.

Excellent meal tonight in small restaurant professionally run eating al fresco in fish market. Scallops and chorizo starter was beautifully cooked. The scallops lovely and tender without in any way being overcooked. For main had 1/2 sea bass with sauce, fresh veg and jersey potatoes. All cooked to perfection. Washed down with pino grigio white. No room for sweet although... More

Located in the sam house as the local fish market a visit to Bistro Rosa is a must if you are into seafood. Great, fresh food are served in the little cozy restaurant a few blocks away from the main shopping street. I had the lobster pasta which was good but my colleague hit the jackpot with the moules marinere!... More

We both had starters and mains. Everything was excellent. Fresh and well presented. You could watch the food being cooked. It is a small place, atmosphere was very friendly. Tables are close together but so what! Prices are high but, in my experience, normal for fresh seafood. It was a treat on our last day of holiday and has left... More

There is absolutely no doubt that the food here is wonderful. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked and lovingly presented. The restaurant is fairly compact with an outside seating area as well. We used the menu option that offered two or three courses for a set price. Plenty of choice and everything we had was lovely, with plenty of vegetables served separately.... More

Very understated restaurant at the end of the Fish Market. We wouldn't have looked at it if we hadn't read the great reviews but very glad we did. Really delicious, perfectly cooked, fresh and tasty fish. Everything was good for all three of us - so good we went twice in one day! Scallops with chorizo the best I've ever... More
