Very nice; leaning towards being a 'gastro-pub' Went there for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Good variety of dishes, food very good and well presented. Friendly staff too.

We went here on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the staff were very welcoming. I tried the Venison pie with mash etc. it was my first experience of Venison and it was delicious. We all chose different courses and we all were impressed with the quality of the food.

We ventured into the Goose after returning to Jersey on childhood holidays. It used to be called the British... which our waitress double checked for us. Deceptive outside as comes across as just a pub and bar menu but the food was exceptional and smashed all our table of 5 expectations! We had an array of starters, mussels garlic bread...... More

Went with friends for dinner. We intended having a main and a dessert but after the main meal we were full and so we only had main courses in the end. Large portions and well cooked food. The fish pie was packed with a variety of fish and sea food, we would order this again. One friend had ribs and... More

Absolutely gorgeous cheese and tomato bread starter followed by a fish and chips, 2 magnificent veggie burgers and sweet potato chips and two of us had the most wonderful venison, puff pastry pie and mash potato. It was delicious. We had several glass... More

This pub is an excellent local which we frequent often. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is superb. The menu is varied and would appeal to many tastes. There are two areas for eating, a family area and also a very comfortable over 18's area. I would advise booking for the latter at the weekends. In the... More

I went there this January and had a lovely lunch. The staff was efficient and friendly. When you enter from the road side, there's a pub, walk down and you can have lunch either after the pub area or on the side where it looks "posher" and really nicely furnished. I went to the casual area which was nice and... More
