We stumbled upon the tea room whilst walking from St Aubens to Corbiere Lighthouse. Lovely garden to sit in. The soup was delicious and the home made cakes were an added bonus. The service was friendly and we got some handy advice on the area. I would recommend The Poplars.

We called twice here during our stay for a cup of tea. One afternoon we enjoyed the home made scones and the other the delicious chocolate cake. Staff very friendly, good service and value for money. Unfortunately it was so busy we could not get a seat outside but this obviously reflects its popularity.

We decided to visit the Poplars Tea Room, whilst walking back from Corbiere Lighthouse. We were lucky and got an outside seat, it was a very hot day. We enjoyed a sandwich and pot of tea. We couldn't fit in any of the sumptuous cakes that were on display. As we walked out of the car-park we noticed that all... More

I just visited this place today and was shocked to find that due to their no dogs anywhere on the premises including the large garden seating area "for hygiene reasons", there was a dog in the car parked next to ours. The windows were cracked open but the poor thing was spark out and panting very heavily. While ordering I... More

Lovely menu, delightful garden and great service. Highly recommend this lovely cafe for anything from breakfast through to lunch, ad hoc meals and especially afternoon tea.

Have visited the Poplars too many times to mention over a great many years whilst on holiday in Jersey. The reason being the food is homemade the bread, cakes, jam and desserts, all to an exceptionally high quality, tasting delicious. The service is prompt and friendly. It can be a little busy at times being frequented by both locals and... More

Great homemade food all day long. The baking is to die for and we always get a welcome as though we were there every week throughout the year. A beautiful setting in an old orchard.
