We wanted a cream tea during our stay in Jersey and thought that this place was worth a try as it had good reviews. For a start, it's aimed at the older generation as there seemed to be no one here under 70. It was very busy at peak time and people were taking their time over lunch so not... More

Visited here for the first time in September. It was a lovely warm afternoon and we were able to sit outside. Had a lovely afternoon tea with a good selection of sandwiches and cakes.

Nice family run tea rooms with relaxed atmosphere . Nice place to sit outside with family in summer. They have a large selection of homemade cakes and pasteries. Lunchtime sandwiches are very good value and well filled. They have a small set of table and chairs for toddlers which my grand daughter loves to bring over and set up next... More

We stumbled upon the tea room whilst walking from St Aubens to Corbiere Lighthouse. Lovely garden to sit in. The soup was delicious and the home made cakes were an added bonus. The service was friendly and we got some handy advice on the area. I would recommend The Poplars.

We called twice here during our stay for a cup of tea. One afternoon we enjoyed the home made scones and the other the delicious chocolate cake. Staff very friendly, good service and value for money. Unfortunately it was so busy we could not get a seat outside but this obviously reflects its popularity.

We decided to visit the Poplars Tea Room, whilst walking back from Corbiere Lighthouse. We were lucky and got an outside seat, it was a very hot day. We enjoyed a sandwich and pot of tea. We couldn't fit in any of the sumptuous cakes that were on display. As we walked out of the car-park we noticed that all... More

I just visited this place today and was shocked to find that due to their no dogs anywhere on the premises including the large garden seating area "for hygiene reasons", there was a dog in the car parked next to ours. The windows were cracked open but the poor thing was spark out and panting very heavily. While ordering I... More

Lovely menu, delightful garden and great service. Highly recommend this lovely cafe for anything from breakfast through to lunch, ad hoc meals and especially afternoon tea.

Fabulous traditional farm-style tea rooms in lovely location. They serve great light lunches and afternoon teas.

What a lovely little family run Tea Room. We have visited Jersey many times and The Polars is a must for us to visit. Beautiful fresh home baking is there to tempt you. If the weather is good they have a lovely lawned garden with tables. They have a lovely old Fig tree in the garden. If you need a... More
