I remembered a fantastic meal here on a visit 35 years ago so decided to return. I was so disappointed. I ordered steak and Guinness pie. I was served a dish of watery stew and a slice of over cooked puff pastry. The two had never met, the pastry was dry!. The chips were not much better the eyes had... More

Interesting old pub, serving great food from a varied menu. Staff very friendly. Good choice of beers. Very close to the beach, as you would expect from the name !

Caught the no12a bus and the lovely bus driver dropped us at the top of the lane for the leisurely10minute walk down the hill. Food available btw 12-2pm. Really good value for money, huge portions, hot, well presented. Staff very friendly and able to order food from the lovely assistant at the table. Being an olde world typically British pub... More

The Old Smugglers Inn is at Ouisne, a pretty little bay. We had dinner there on three different evenings and the good was great every time.

Went to visit with memories of previous visit 40 years ago. Whilst the setting and the ambiance of the pub was still good the food could only be described as average. The Smugglers burger lacked flavour and the chips weren't good.

First trip to Jersey and stayed in St Brelade. Had evening meal here at the Smugglers 4th July, lasagne and salad; food, host and staff spot on, it was faultless. Returned on 6th and equally as good. Had Espetada, again spot on. If you come to this area give it ago , you won't be disappointed.

Great spot for a pint after a walk along the beach. Did not stay for food but there were a lot of tables set for pub grub.

Heard about the Smugglers Inn, so after a nice walk along the beach when the tide was out, we arrived in Ousaine Bay to find it. Wasn't sure if it was open during the afternoon, but it was. Warm welcome, nice pint, watched the tennis on tv. Didn't have any food. Seemed more frequented by locals than tourists, but this... More

One of Jersey's oldest pubs with a great history, small and a real atmosphere and great food and very friendly service. Great steaks, great food, and a lovely walk on the beach.

Good pub food, wide choice of ales, friendly and welcoming staff. Good value. Nice and clean. Not upmarket or chic, but good traditional pub with nice relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend for couples or families.
