We went for a family meal here for a birthday. We use to go here and loved it so we were really looking forward to it. We asked for the early bird meal which was all changed not like before. I was ordering from this menu and asked that with the plater could I get an extra spring roll (already... More

Had a fair enough meal here but it was not the most outstanding Chinese that I have eaten in Laois. That said it is worth a try as it is not terrible, by any means.

Hubby and self took our five "children" - 11 to 22 to the Emporer's House. With 3 of them away at college and busy GAA schedule dont often get out together. Though it is a large restaurant the atmosphere is still very cosy. The staff were lovely and catered for the smaller appetite of the 11yo(half portion), to the greater... More

Staff are lovely and friendly but the food is only a little ok, myself and my son ordered the shredded crispy chicken fried rice, and sweet and sour sauce on the side. The chicken was tuff and very chewy the rice was ok and the sauce was very thick and wasn't great.

There was a good choice and we all chose something different which came to the table quite quickly and all together. All the dishes tasted fabulous and we had a really... More

Amazing chinese, went out for a meal with my partner's family and we all really enjoyed it. Friendly and helpful staff and very good food for a reasonable price.

Availed of their set menu, good choice and really tasty. Staff were accommodating, not overly friendly but would return again.

I have had the early bird here a number of times and always been impressed. Normally a selection of starters, fried bold tasty bits & pieces. The beef in black bean or beef in black pepper are the favourites for us. Nice big restaurant, not normally too busy and handy for parking etc not in the shopping centre. Must pay... More

Food is lovely in here but can tend to be overpriced. My family just get takeaways and have recently changed to a different chineese due to the price
