The food here is very good. I have been here a number of times and really like the chicken curry, pizzas and the lasagna. The place is also very comfortable with a nice stove during the winter. The staff are also very nice.

I ordered the chicken salad, I was thinking this would be the healthy option, the chicken was fried which made it tough, the plate had very little salad, mostly consistent of coleslaw and patato salad. What green salad was there was in a bath of mayo. Very disappointed...

Called in here for a quick after work dinner. I decided to go for the Josper chargrilled chicken, it sounded tasty and I was keen to have something from the Josper grill, as I've heard lots about them, the high temperatures they cook at, and how the finished product is so tasty. There was an explanation to this effect on... More

Located just off the N7 at Johnstown/Naas, the Johnstown Inn has a solid menu with a good selection of starters and mains. I went with the chicken and my partner went for the steak. Neither of us were disappointed. Wouls certainly recommend the place to others. Only criticism is that I ordered veggies which never arrived and I wasnt bothered... More

Every time I pass by I always call in for food . The staff are very nice and the food is fabulous. It's a very comfortable and welcoming pub and the food is very reasonable for the big portion sizes

Food takes a bit too long but the food is not that bad. I think price is a bit overpriced tho. and chips are not great... but overall not too bad experience.

I have eaten there on number of occasions and I mostly order either a chicken dish or a Lasagne. Lasagne could be shared between 2 people - it's huge. You get garlic bread, side of your choice (mash, chips) and a salad. Safe to say I have never finished my meal there, so big! One small minus - the service... More

Popped in for a quick lunch , was quite busy . Two menus available, one for express lunch 10e and another more extensive one . I opted for the lasagne, garlic bread and fries off the express menu. Substantial and tasty and good value. My guest had soup which was wholesome and the ploughman's which was disappointing. However worth another... More

This restaurant is signposted on the N7 and is just off this motorway, but not far away. It is a gastropub and it is quite big and has a car park at the rear. The staff were mainly friendly and polite and the food was very tasty. There is a fair range of craft beers to sample. It was a... More
