We stopped off here on the way back from the Aran Islands & had a fabulous dinner. We ordered halloumi bites for starters. The beetroot yogurt honey sauce with it was delicious.
We followed up with two veggie burgers. I had sweet potato burger &...my partner had the beyond burger. Both delicious & both came with salad & fries. They also offered plenty of meat options. The price was reasonable & the waiter was very friendly & helpful.
If you find yourself in Spiddal I definitely recommend eating here. 👍🏼More
We had dinner at Tigh Giblin last night and it was tasty. It’s a small place inside, but comfortable. My food was delicious—(pictured) Shrimp and Chorizo Mac n cheese. My dad and I shared periwinkles. He had fish and chips and loved his meal also.
Visited this pub for a evening meal. We were blown away by the warm welcome and service and the quality of food was fantastic. There was a local Irish band playing in the evening, which added to the unique atmosphere.
Having looked at previous reviews of this restaurant, we decided to give it a try. The starters arrived and they were ok but the main course was incredibly disappointing.
We ordered pulled pork tacos and they were almost inedible. They were dripping in water, tasteless...and had no seasoning whatsoever. There was a pool of water on our plate and none of us could eat them.
The pork tasted like it was a bought in product and no seasoning or spice and had this weird white watery substance running from it down the plate.
Food also took quite a long time to come out
3 of out party couldn't eat it at all. The other two had fish and chips and said it was ok.
In the end we were not charged for the 3 pork tacos which was only fair.More
And for good reason! Great food, Craic, musics day good staff. Fish and chips were some of the best, steak was excellent. Good wine and prices consistent with the competition. Small place, though. Only seating for about 15 tops!
We came to Ireland 20 years ago and found a pub with live local Irish music...and haven’t had any luck finding more on subsequent trips until this little place. Clever menu, music on Monday and Wednesday by a lovely set of fellows who played for...fun. Great time.More
