Purists may turn their nose up because this isn't the pinnacle of Japanese cuisine. But considering its location in a small town, ultra-authenticity could be a hindrance. What Sake does, it does extremely well. I've eaten there many times and the food is consistently great...(though eating-in is admittedly superior to takeout -- freshness matters!). Sake is one of the few places where I have force myself to slow down and enjoy it. I generally order the Rising Sun Hibachi style, and have never been disappointed in the slightest. The yum-yum sauce, which they use for salad dressing as well as with the meal, is perfect and hard to replicate at home (I've tried). The environment is "intimate" and while they recently increased their prices, the value is still there due to the quality. While you won't get the onion volcano here, the food is superior to the Hibachi place down the road in Mt. Juliet and roughly 50% less expensive. It's absolutely worth the deviation from the interstate, or the extra 15 minutes in the car if you're coming from Nashville proper. Two thumbs up, and more if I had them.More

My date and I ate here. The food and service was excellent. I had the teriyaki steak it came with a salad, fried rice & vegetables.

I've tried many things here. I love the Zen Shrimp. The sushi is the best I've ever had. The hibachi is great! You will not be disappointed.

I find the service to be excellent as well as the food. This is a bare bones place with basic décor. It is clean and nice enough but not fancy by any means. The food is excellent and as mentioned above is my personal favorite...place to eat in Lebanon.More

Wonderful family run restaurant. Really like the simple salad that precedes the meal...the dressing is unique and delightful. You can't go wrong with their meals...it's all good.

Some of the nicest folks you'll meet but don't expect the traditional Japanese food you've come to expect from other places. No watching some guy flip a shrimp through the air, just a sit down and order place. Filling but unspectacular.

I travel to Lebanon, TN often, but this is my first trip to Sake. I should have known by the packed parking lot that it was popular and good. Got a table right away and ordered from a large available selection off of the menu....Food is fresh, filling, and a great addition to the wonderful restaurants in Lebanon. Highly recommend.More

Met friends and family here for lunch. On this day, it was 28 degrees out and they sat us near the door. Needless to say that it was cold as people came in and out of the restaurant. You can choose between hibachi and teriyaki....The hibachi chicken comes with veggies and was good. The scallops and shrimp were also good. They do not fry the rice in eggs which was good for me. Eggs are extra and cost 99 cents. Good place to eat. They were busy which means the food is turned over fast and that’s a good thing.More

I'm used to paying $18 good hibachi. This is less than $10 and you get more food!!! Tons of delicious veggies. Always quick service too, even when they're busy. I love getting Sake for a good meal on a college friendly budget
