I have eaten at Society many times in the past couple years, but not since they relocated to the Historic Square a year ago. The new place has No warmth or charm, with lighting spotlights that annoy from every angle. Food is generally good, but...not nearly enough to make up for a bland overall experience. It certainly wasn't a "fun" outing. Made me wish I had just gone to my favorite place on Geri street.More

We stayed at the state park and came here for dinner. The food was excellent and the staff was very kind. I had the herb rubbed chicken with tomatoes and spinach, roasted cabbage, and potatoes. Can also recommend the power bowl and Philly cheesesteak. 10/10...recommend!!More

We were told by some locals that this was the place to be on Saturday nights with fun and live music- they weren't lying! We had dinner here which was delicious, and then we stayed and heard a local artist perform while having drinks and...playing corn hole. What a fun experience! Made several new friends. We felt so welcomed.More

I saw that this restaurant opened and I was curious to try it being the foodie that I am. It was a Friday night about 7 and the place was empty. I ordered the Apple orchard salad and the potato soup, (they were out of...the soup) so I tried the lobster bisque. The salad was the size of a house salad, the apples, goat cheese, chicken, and nuts (menu said candied but they weren’t) were finely chopped so you couldn’t really tell what was what. The vinaigrette was tasteless. The lobster bisque had one minuscule piece of lobster (more like a piece of crab). The salad was 13.50, soup 8.00. Instead of bread or rolls they bring you a bowl of pork rinds...far from my favorite. Needless to say I tried it and will not be back. I don’t see them being in business long. Plus they need to change their name.....country folk have no clue what a Nocherie isMore

I ordered a steak salad with blue cheese and tomatoes and a tea-not a lot of Blue cheese either. My bill was $16.00 before tip. It was good, but that’s just a little high for lunch around here.

We just learned that the site of a favorite restaurant that closed over a year ago has reopened as Society Nosherie. We stopped in last night with friends and had fun trying different entrees. For appetizers we tried the fried pickles which were just a...tad salty but lightly fried to perfection - long ribbon slices. I tried the Sam Adams Burger which came as I ordered it, "medium rare". Onion rings were crispy but not over fried -- another good choice. One of the evenings specials was a half rack of ribs with barbque sauce and French fires. They disappeared from two peoples' plates so they must have been pretty good. We hope to return in the very near future.More
