This is a very quaint and interesting place in a seaside town with great character, the welcome and service were excellent and the rooms were comfortable, a group of us stayed and went to a party in the town, we arrived back to the place early in the morning without any fuss. Breakfast was served by a young lady with... More

Love this restaurant, have dined here quite a few times. Old style setting, pre dinner drink if u wish the food order taken in foyer / reception area. Relax and then accompanied to your table. We both chose the seafood parcel with a peanut sauce to start. It was a good size portion with plenty of prawns and sauce. For... More

Saturday night was a fabulous meal at Red Bank Restaurant. Wine selection is extensive, but the house recommendations hit the mark. My starter of three tarts blew me away- each one was better than the last. Hubby's carpaccio was one of the best we have ever tried. I followed with the duck which was so good, but only part of... We left here last Saturday night and left really dissapointed having paid a lot of money for our meal. As soon as we arrived we were told there were no prawns, scallops or lobster. On a Saturday night on the a la cartel menu. These ingredients form more than half of the menu! The waitress was disinterested and did not... More

Food exceeded my expectations, really high standard and fabulous choice. My husband and I ate in the restaurant as part of our two night stay and both nights were delighted by our choice. Particularly recommend the steak!

We went to the Red Bank in Skerries last night for the first time in about 4/5 years.. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The food was awful. The service was completely impersonal and rude. The answer to us saying that the Crab Claws were undercooked and that The Crab Mornay dish needed a spoon as it... More

We had lunch here last Sunday and as always the food, service and overall experience was excellent. I agree with other posts that a few things need a change but overall the experience for entry to exit is always a positive one.

Whilst staying at the hotel/restaurant we booked in for dinner on the Monday night, a quiet night with only a couple of other diners. The Hotel owner and Chef looked after us all the way through. We went to the bar area with a fire burning for drinks and some complimentary beautifully cooked potato skins. Our order was taken by... More
