A great venue to people watch and the food and service was excellent. We frequently visit the Queens and have always had a great experience. The chicken burger was so full of flavour and well presented. My husband had the scampi which was delicious. We...More

Beautiful sunshine, surroundings and food.Having lived in Dalkey 8 years ago, it's great to see service and food quality have remained consistently good. Staff couldn't have been nicer especially as we had our 2 big Labradors with us.Definitely try the Mexican burger and bread and...More

Really wanted to enjoy the queens, but everything from the non existent welcome to the staff who prefer to look at their feet ruined it. Chicken wings were old and chewy, not nearly what they were going for in terms of the "elephant and castle"...More

We stopped in here on a quick visit to Dalkey. The food did not disappoint. They had quite a few people sitting outside to wait on but service didn't suffer. We felt very well taken care of and had a great lunch. Would return if...More

On the night we visited Queens, we had two tables and we opted for the pub food menus. The staff were under pressure on the night as there was clearly not enough of them on duty. It was difficult to get an order in -...More

The Queens has a great sunny patio with waiter service and a good gastro pub menu. We had roast chicken and sweet potato fries with the local IPA ( chieftain I think) Great way to while away a few hours on vacation

Had the misfortune to drop into Queens for a pint with the family a while back. Scandalous pricing. Left after one drink. Won't be back.

We stopped in for a drink earlier in our week in Dalkey me decided to come back for dinner as the staff were so lovely. The boys all had steak "on the stone" so it cooks the last few minutes at the table on your...More

I didn't know so I googled it. I remembered them saying it was old and historic but it has been updated inside and looks very modern. According to their website, it was established in 1745.
