Upon a weekend break to a nearby hotel, we came across this little hidden gem! Stopped off for cheeky pint (without our teenage boys)..could have sat here all day! Returned next day with the boys for a late bite to eat and a few relaxing drinks..Atmosphere was lovely..very inviting. Staff had great humour not only amongst themselves, but with everyone... More

This is probably 'our local'. We usually just turn up. It's a mixture of Tables and booths at the back of a busy bar area. Which is a good thing if you have to wait. Although, in my experience waiting is rare. The menu is varied enough with an Italian flavour. The food is generally of reasonably good quality. My... More

This place in now called De Bruins. Visited here today with my fiancé and her mum for some lunch. I was very very very impressed with the attentiveness of the waiting staff! Absolutely top notch service! Very friendly and genuinely nice people. Other places in Dublin should take a leaf out of their books for service. Food was very very... More

The vegetarian options for main course were non-existent. I'd recommend the establishment look in to providing some options for us. However, there were some starter options, so I just had a couple of those instead, and they were very tasty. I finished with a cheese board, which had a very good selection of cheeses, and enjoyed thoroughly (next time, I'll... More

Get one thing straight, this is first and foremost a pub (that does grub.) But it does the grub very well. It was simply packed when we were there, Saturday evening, but we ordered a meal, group of 20 and service was very good. Had a look around the table and the meals looked good. I had the steak on... Quality service and friendly staff. The food is mediocre but presentation good. The olives were a let down as not pitted and tasted sour. Overall we had a nice experience and didn't feel rushed to leave despite having made no booking on a Saturday night.

I have been here twice in quick succession. .Once for a snack...tapas was just what was required. ..tasty, filling and reasonably priced. Second time for dinner and it didn't dissappoint. ..it's pub grub and doesn't pretend otherwise. .good value with great staff...what more would you want on a Monday afternoon. .

We went to DeBruns ( formerly Brasserie 15) .Very welcoming waiter and sat down. We ordered Guinness Stew and vegetarian dish of Roasted Pepper stuffed with cous cous. The stew arrived on a large plate with a small chipped enamel dish sitting in the middle. looking underneath the large mound of potato, we uncovered a red coloured sauce with meat... More
