We just returner from a 2 day trip to the castlemartyr resort and the highlight of our trip was dining in Kilkenny cafe in shanagarry which was 10 minutes from our hotel, so much so that we drove there for our breakfast the next day too! Fab fresh cooked food and really clean! The girl who served us late lunch... More

Only popped in for a coffee but decided to stay and have dinner. Delighted we did, great choice on the menu and the food was delicious and plentiful. Sat by the window and had a fab view out over the water. Gave kids small colouring activity packs which kept them entertained while we waited for our food. Lovely shop and... More

Recently visited this shop and delightful cafe in East Cork. Beautiful array of cakes and a nice lunch menu. Some of the staff have a very annoying habit of addressing customers as "lovee" or "darling" which I consider totally unprofessional. The friendliness is very welcome and welcoming but drop the overfamiliarity. Overall a good place to eat and spend a... More

Brilliant menu, catering for all tastes. Presentation second to none and the variety was great. As was the selection of fantastic deserts. Location could not be better, overlooking Garryvoe strand.

Dropped in just after Christmas and there were great sale offers on Irish crafts and quirky books. No pressure to buy that you get in a lot of shops. We had pre-lunch coffee and cakes. Massive helpings. I opted for christmas pudding and custard which was delicious. We were a mixed group of teens and parents and all enjoyed the... More

Normally we go here for lunch, but today it was for dessert. We had a tea and coffee with a doorstep chunk of good Coffee Cake, and a Lemon Meringue pie cupcake. All delicious and sweet and just what the doctor ordered. Evelyn is the best waitress - so friendly and capable, and put us right up at the top... More
