Stopped for lunch when passing through virginia based on what I thought good reviews. Can safely say one of the worst pub lunches I have expeirienced !! My wife & I were sat down to a table for two. Looking around the pub & decor...well is very odd to say the least also the atmosphere - some locals in enjoying there few lunchtime pints but definitely got the feeling - who are these outsiders !! Young waitress took our order, no personality at all & had the impression she did not want to be there. Drinks were not good quality & the food a pasta dish that was to the point inedible & flavourless for me. Had the feeling made the night before & microwaved ,- came out way too quick.. The sambo my wife ordered was okay bit thrown together . Paid the bill which at least compared to Dublin was cheap & left. Would not darken the door again 😂More

Had a family outing of 18 at the Riverfront the food was excellent, and Sandra who attended to us exelled at making our night perfect. I would just like to say a big thank you to Caroline who organised the event for us and all...of her staff for our brilliant night.More

The staff were fantastic they really were so helpful with everything and so bubbly. The food was to die for it was excellent very well made and the portions were huge. This place is what made our trip and and we would all be delighted...to go there again.More

Recently celebrated my daughter's 14th birthday with dinner at The Riverfront. Lovely restaurant with amazing food. Our server, Kiara was friendly and professional. When it came time for birthday cake, all of the staff came and sang. Great spot, definitely worth a visit!!!

The food was really nice, staff members were absolutely lovely, we spent a good evening, I recommend !

We had a lovely Sunday lunch here today.Very busy but front of house manager had it all under control.Lovely menu and food was plentiful and really nice.Staff very efficient & friendly.

For once, an establishment that got everything right. The seating area was spotlessly clean to start, with sanitized tables. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu had options for vegetarian meals which were great and absolutely delicious. The drinks were well priced with...good quality wine. Service was excellent with the right amount of time between courses and all reasonably priced. All in all a great experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a bite to eat. Well done to all the team at the Riverfront. You should be proud.More

Popped in for a very tasty lunch. The staff were extremely busy but really lovely and we asked and got a seat by the fire. We both choose the roast beef with Yorkshire puddings. Both cooked very nicely and some of the best yorkies I've...had! We had chocolate brownie sundaes for pudding which was intense, full of flavour and a lovely finish to the meal. Few very small additions if you are looking for constructive feedback is the mash was gorgeous but I missed having a couple of roast potatoes and the veg was nice but some spring greens added would have made it perfect. We asked for mustard but I think the lad forgot so maybe a few on the table would be easier for staff and customers especially on busy Sundays. Only other thing was that gravy is so nice, a splash more will be requested next time 😊😊😊😊 we shall be back soon. 9/10More

Thanks to Jimmy, Caroline & team everything was 100%. Hen party of 38, food was delicious & the band & DJ in V bar were great. Everything under the 1 roof👍

A HUGE thank you to the lovely staff here - most of all Jimmy, who saved us when we’d been left stranded on Friday night! Without you we’d probably still be roaming the streets of Virginia. Ireland is a wonderful wonderful place.

lunch was beautiful.lovely selection of food on menu. staff so helpful and kind. dining area warm and comfortable as it was snowing outside. staff brought birthday cake out and sang happy birthday to my mam .a great surprise for her. she enjoyed the lamb dish...also the raspberry meringue dessert. we will be returning again soon thanks.More
