Love this place. Always has the best shrimp and okra, but tonight o had a Kobe burger with beer cheese. It was messy but worth it.

Must stop! Shrimp and grits is incredible and the Summit breakfast with cornbread, pulled pork, fried okra, eggs and cheese sauce. Unreal good! Delicious bloody Mary as well!!

We read about Big Fatty's on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try for lunch. The first thing we noticed was that it was hard to find. Its signage seen from the west was very small and the sign seen from the east was large, but blocked by parked cars. After finally finding it, we walked in and... More

Big Fatty's opened their doors to some of my friends for a pop up art show / silent auction. The atmosphere was so welcoming and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. They came up with many specials for the event which was unexpected.

OMG! So thankful that my co workers introduced me to this place. Such a funky little easy vibe here and the food is AMAZING!!!! Fresh & definitely homemade. The Crab Cake sandwich is awesome and the Shrimp Tacos. Dear Lord! Love this place!

I was a bit trepidacious when Dear Husband picked Big Fatty's for his birthday dinner. The online reviews of this down-home soul food joint are wildly uneven -- everyone either totally loves it or completely loathes it. There is no in-between. So I was worried. Also, I couldn't find their menu online to get an idea of the offerings. As... More

Not much ambiance, when it's busy it's loud (nothing buffers the noise, chairs moving on floor are noisy), but the food is delicious. Prices are slightly higher than average lunch place, I assume because they are using better / fresher ingredients. Southern fare but there is also creativity which I love. The Lady Vol pita burger - awesome. The place... More

Looking for something different in Knoxville area? This place fits the bill. Top quality unique eats are sure to please. Burgers seem to be the specialty. Service is severely lacking, not enough and slow, otherwise great.

I'm super hard to please when it comes to eating anywhere other than chain restaurants because it's just hard to find good food. This place however is the bomb! Everything I've ever had here is really good. It's very unassuming from the outside so you might be tempted to drive by. The inside is very laid back and casual. The... More
