So loud we couldn't have a conversation across our booth. Terrible acoustics. That alone would keep me away. Add the fact that the cocktails are not priced on the menu makes my dissatisfaction complete. Food and service were okay but not enough to overcome the...More

We were in Knoxville for a funeral and needed a quick bite before the funeral. Stumbled upon Cru , glad we did . We were able to eat outside, which I like . Our waiter couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive . The food...More

Stopped here with the wife while in the old city. Had a good meal, good service, and very convenient. Even had a dining area with no TV which made for better conversation.

Sooner or later it always happens: as soon as we find a place we start liking, something goes wrong. Of course it happened when we bragged(too soon), and took someone to impress. Ughh... It was a Saturday night, and market square was packed to the...More

Food was excellent but the service exceeded our expectations. Parking for downtown is horrendous but once we got seated it was all good!

While looking for a place for a pre-movie dinner; we read some reviews, looked at the menu, and took a chance. There are a number of good eateries in the old city; as well as the market square area, but we wanted something we hadn’t...More

This is a big, boisterous venue with plenty of atmosphere and energy. However, you definitely pay for it. The food is good. Our group of four sampled several appetizers, stuck pretty much with salads with added scallops for our entrees, and each had a drink,...More

Went there for brunch around noon on Sunday. Dark and dreary outside and, unfortunately inside. Inexpensive cocktails... white sangria was good. I had Crab Cake Benedict. The grits were tasty but the sauce on the over cooked egg was luke warm. My hubby had the...More
