Poor Service, Didn't get our order, after waiting over an hour after order placed. We also waited 45 minutes to get table.

Breaks my heart to have such a disappointing experience with a locally-owned place that had often been a delight, but today Cosmo’s was not so great: Server pleasant and attentive—had coffee right out while we studied the menu: but then plain bagels only, no English muffins –so I asked for rye toast to be well done but was slightly more... We have eaten here in the past and enjoyed the food. However, my recent meal was a real disappointment. I ordered the "Toad in a Hole", which is a breakfast sandwich with two fried eggs hidden in a depression in the bread. I specifically asked the server for my eggs to be cooked "hard", not runny. When I cut into... More

Hubs and I went here for Sunday brunch one day, after hearing that it was one of Knoxville's hidden gems. We were not disappointed! It's something of a hole in the wall, a cafe attached to a market. Coffee was good and refilled often, and the service was friendly and gave good suggestions for the menu. He had the Toad... More

I would have gladly given a higher ranking, but I made the mistake of going inside the ladies' room which is just the worst, worst rest room I have seen in months. Granted, I haven't been inside a truck stop in the last ten years. There may be worse rest rooms somewhere. I just don't know where. So what's so... More

And it just gets better. Over the few years I have been coming here the word is getting out about this little secret. It started as a small corner with a few chairs and a patio in the back parking lot. Now they have expanded out their tables and restaurant. Menu was streamlined to all their best stuff. From awesome... More

Went Sunday morning about 9:30 and had about a 15 minute wait. Once seated the waitress was pleasant and responsive. We ordered eggs, bacon and biscuits with an order of pancakes and french toast. Maybe it was me but I thought I ordered the cinnamon raisin french toast. Pancakes were ok but not with a crispy edge. Still wanting my... More

Awesome Hummus Veggie Wrap! Great service. The waitress was polite and knowledgeable. She suggested the wrap, which turned out to be the best I think I've ever had.

We stopped in for brunch as The Egg & I across the street had too long of a wait. Cosmo's had a wait as well, but the space is SO much bigger that it didn't seem like it take as long. However, some seats opened at the bar (first come/first served), so we got in immediately. Thomas did a great... More

My partner and I recently discovered Cosmo's Cafe inside the Gourmet Market. Such a hiiden and well unexpected surprise. Never had anything but breakfast but they serve later. Its in an old Ryans steakhouse back up off of Kingston Pike in Bearden Hill. Great service, clean and very friendly staff. I highly suggest the pancakes and of course with a... More
