We were told about this place by word-of-mouth said it very good restaurant, so we thought we would give it a try, when we walked in we were the only ones there, we had to wait a little while before we were waited on. We...placed our order and waited on our food, and once it came out it was presented very well in nice glass plates and bowls, what cheapened the experience was plastic forks and knifs we had to eat with, it would have been much better with real silverware. Very good pizza in a no-frills restaurant near the Tennessee campus. This is obviously a student hangout, judging from the other diners. We just had pizza, which was good and inexpensive. I ordered from Oscars through Grubhub. My expected wait time was 65-75 minutes, long but I was willing to wait. However, when I called 75 minutes after I ordered because order tracking was still showing “preparing,” I was told “we’ve been busy, but your order...is ready.” Great. Cause my order was cold when I received it (manicotti is not very good when it’s cold, FYI). I received no communication from the restaurant or from Grubhub that the order would be late. I ordered at 12:45, it arrived at 2:35. When I contacted Grubhub for a refund, I was told the restaurant wouldn’t give me a refund because they told me it would take an hour. And Grubhub wouldn’t refund because I received my order. So I will not order from this restaurant or from Grubhub again. Note to those in customer service... a little communication goes a long way. All you had to do was tell me it was going to be delayed and make sure it was hot when it got here.More

I've always had top-notch service and food at Oscar's. The seafood pizza is off the charts. If you're looking for a nice family owned restaurant with decent prices, this is the spot! 5 stars!

We ordered pizza while walking to our hotel after a UT game. The poor driver was stuck in traffic from the game, but still managed to get the pizza to us while hot. We thought it was really good.

I ordered my food at 6:40 pm. It took almost 30 minutes to get someone to answer. It was the 3rd quarter of the UT / Alabama game so I understood. After placing my order, I was told it would be right out. I made...sure to order in the 3rd quarter to get in line. After calling again at 8:15, they assured me the driver would be here in 5-10 minutes. It has now been another 35 minutes! I tried to call and now they aren't answering the phone. Visiting town on business, I didnt want to leave my hotel. They didn't have a restaurant so the lady at the desk recommended Oscars. The delivery was quick and the food was not expensive however I'm sure it would have tasted better if I had...been drinking all night. The Pizza was so greasy, the box was soaked when thd Pizza arrived. The Pizza had a glistening sheen on grease on top of it, nasty. I like pizza but rarely eat it. However, this pizza is so worth the calories and fat!!! We had the supreme and can hardly wait to eat the leftovers for breakfast. The large was more than enough to serve three people. We ordered delivery at...our hotel. It arrived in just over 30 minutes and was piping hot. I was amazed! You can't go wrong with the choice. We ordered pizza in this place, in my opinion the flavor could have been better and the pizza not so greasy. The place is not quite clean, tables and chairs are sticky. The place should improve that.

Food and service here was actually better than expected. The exterior of the building is pretty ugly and it's interior looks like 1980, but the servers were friendly and attentive The food quality was good and generous. We took to-go plates of calzones and bread...sticks back to our hotel. The menu is extensive, covers many food types, and is very reasonably priced. Based on the foot traffic in and out, it seems that most of its business is to-go or delivery. TV's were broken - which is a bummer. In summary - pleasantly surprised, but fix the TV's.More

My family and I decided to order from Oscar because it was recommended by the front desk staff at Holiday Inn in Downtown Knoxville. They delivered to the hotel. It was also very late an they would still deliver. We ordered a pizza and desserts....The pizza was great!!! I was very pleased with it. I had tiramisu and my mom and sister had cheesecake. The desserts I thought were out of this world. It was all so good and I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was! I will eat here again when I'm in Knoxville that is for sure!More
