Our first time to this NAMA location, but it will not be our last. We like the indoor/outdoor seating option. Their menu was standard NAMA fare and the service was pleasant. Food tasted great! We will be back

We came in for lunch.. starving as we hadn’t eaten yet today. The menu was limited, probably due to the Coronavirus, which is totally understandable. This was our first time here and we definitely will be looking for a better sushi bar option in the...future. The portions were the smallest I’ve ever seen in my life. We ordered the pork dumplings which were really good and came out almost minutes after we ordered. The maki roll offerings were limited and the special rolls were disappointing at best. The maki roll fish portion was less than the size of your thumb nail. VERY VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF FISH. We spent $40 for the dumplings and 3 rolls and left just as hungry as we came in. Extremely disappointing considering the great reviews left by other people.More

They serve fresh sushi and it is really well prepared. They also serve other dishes. The only downside is that they are a bit expensive, although they do have two evenings when sushi is half price.

Really good sushi. A little on the expensive end of the spectrum but they have a wide variety to offer. We had the Boston, pizza and soy joy roll. The pizza roll was our favorite. All the rolls were good. Service was excellent.

I ordered the crab dip and Tempura roll. Both were EXCELLENT. My waiter, Tim, was friendly, gave wonderful suggestions and was very attentive! The atmosphere and decor is nice but it doesn’t “stand out”. I will return!

I took my daughter to Nama for dinner. She loves Sushi and so do I. We both ordered the Secret Garden Roll consisting mainly of salmon, crab and tuna as well as an order of Salmon Nigiri. To drink we each had water. The Roll...was artfully presented in the shape of a dragon and the Nigiri contained a generous portion of raw salmon. These were two of the less expensive items on the menu. The bill came to $57.07, including a 20% tip. The service was excellent. The meal tasted very good, but a couple of hours later we were hungry again. Unless my great aunt dies and leaves me a fortune, I'm not sure when we will ever return.More

We have been to the location in Downtown several times and decided to try this one. We were sat immediately and were pleased with a booth even though a majority of the seating is 4 top tables. We were starving and ordered the sampler appetizer....The dumplings were dry, but the spring rolls and soy based sauce saved the course. Decent app to split amongst a group. We ordered three sushi rolls to split for the main course. They came up in a reasonable amount of time considering it was High noon on a Sunday. The rolls came with about 10 pieces per order. Quality was decent considering we had been spoiled by a recent trip to Maui. The service didn’t disappoint. We had enough refills on drinks to suffice. They have a new location in Cedar Bluff also.More

This place could be okay. The atmosphere is nice, the service is a little indifferent, but you cannot be sure what you are eating. If you order a roll with snow crab, you don’t get snow crab. When you ask them they tell you it’s...a “blend” of snow crab and fake snow crab aka surimi (ground white fish and other ingredients). Dangerous for people with gluten or starch intolerance and problematic for type 2 diabetics counting carbs as you go from an ingredient expected to have zero carbs to one having 10-12 grams. So if they lie about one ingredient, how many others aren’t what they say they are? I’ve gone to sushi places where they serve surimi, but the key difference is that they tell you. A roll with surimi is $5-$7 where real snow crab might be $12-$15. Wanna guess what these guys charge? It sure isn’t the surimi price. I would call this fraud.More

If you have a "yen" (pun intended) to spend a lot of money for a little bit of very good food, I highly recommend you go to Nama's. It has been two hours since I finished my $30 dinner at Nama's and I'm hungry again....While the Sushi and Nigiri were well prepared and very tasty, there just weren't enough of either for my taste. On the other hand, my daughter, who is a much lighter eater than I, loved the food and said it filled her up quite nicely. However, she did ask me to take her for ice cream a half hour after we left the restaurant. On the bright side the service was excellent. Unless I win the lottery, or inherit a fortune, it will be some time before I can afford to return.More
